27/9/2021 10:48 | True, but it could be something like a T-20 trade rollover. We'll never know for sure. | jaf1948
27/9/2021 10:46 | 36 grand is too much to bed and isa isn't it?Not been able to add to ISA for a while so unaware of current limit but though it was 20k ish? | shortarm
27/9/2021 10:44 | I think those two 795500 trades were probably a rollover (possibly a Bed and ISA) so they should not have an effect on stock availability. It is too much of a coincidence that the trades were 15 seconds apart. Nevertheless, something is dragging down the price again. | jaf1948
27/9/2021 10:40 | The 2 x 795500 trades meaning lots of stock available,Probably printed late..... | shortarm
27/9/2021 10:35 | Sorry, shortarm, I don't understand your comment. | jaf1948
27/9/2021 10:23 | There's tour available stock trade? | shortarm
27/9/2021 09:17 | I've got my AAU shares in a Barclays ISA. Just out of interest I looked back to see what delays there were with paying other companies dividends. The last one received was paid on the due date. This was a dividend paid on Barclays shares I own. If they can do this for their own shareholders why can't they do it for owners of AAU shares? | red imp
27/9/2021 08:51 | Barclays = zero for me too currently | dixi
27/9/2021 08:38 | So, will they hold off on the overdue news to give you guys a chance to buy at this level? | thanksamillion
27/9/2021 08:34 | Barclays were always the slowest, and worst, broker when I was with them years ago. I eventually had to give up and move on, from what I've seen elsewhere it doesn't seem like they've improved. Halifax/IWeb/LLOY were usually the next slowest | cwa1
27/9/2021 08:31 | The transactions this morning are mainly buys. I paid 4.67p earlier. | jaf1948
27/9/2021 08:26 | Nothing on Barclays for me yet....! | shortarm
27/9/2021 08:17 | I also want to check - I havnt received on Barc - anyone? | actonovator
27/9/2021 08:15 | Morning Just checking, does anyone else hold with iDealing? No dividend in my account yet-but that doesn't surprise me TOO much when payments are made by cheque they can be slow. Just want to make sure I'm not the ONLY one that hasn't received it at iDealing ;-) | cwa1
27/9/2021 08:08 | That's better Soul :-D | shortarm
27/9/2021 08:06 | Apologies Shortarm, everything is great. | soulsauce
27/9/2021 07:46 | Shortarm, On a superficial level, most of the negative posts mention something specific (delay in dividend, lack of PR etc) whereas most of the positive posts are more generic (great company, good fundamentals etc). A more specific point will generally attract more votes. P.S. I am old but I am not miserable. | jaf1948
27/9/2021 07:10 | It's weird that the negative or grumpy posts get the most ticks? Is everyone really that peed off with their investment in Ariana???Or are you all just old and miserable lol :-P | shortarm
26/9/2021 18:25 | Yep Nigel Somerville has been pushing it uphill for a long time. I would much sooner have a proper professional broker note than the bumblings of some hack that usually have short term sell levels. Especially when we pay a premium for such. Call me old fashioned. | soulsauce
26/9/2021 14:04 | I'm far happier with a company and board that gets on with the job at hand. With operational success and rising underlying value we'll get all the pr we need for free from the likes of stock filters, tipsters and the financial press. | pjmurf
26/9/2021 11:48 | jaf, re. 7724, i'd say that is an unlikely strategy for the bod to employ. in my experience companies are usually very keen to have as strong a share price as possible especially when considering acquisitions or jv's because this significantly reduces the costs where any portion of a deal is paid by shares. and a strong share price also supports the cash position to get better terms when considering loan finance, and is less dilutive when considering equity finance. so unless aau have found a new financial formula i'd say its more likely the bod are just getting on with the business in hand and perhaps neglecting the pr somewhat. as frustrating as it is for shareholders whilst the market catches up with the story, i'd much rather it be this way around than the other, where there is much hoopla around the pr but little operational/business progress backing it up. you have probably heard the saying that the stockmarket is a mechanism for transferring wealth from the impatient to the patient, aau is a splendid example of that! | konil
26/9/2021 11:11 | But how do you know he has over delivered when there is nothing to measure it against, no Gantt chart no formal plan, no broker note. Truth is the last measurable project, Tavsan, is years late. The satellite pits are some time in the future, Salinbas has been on hold while the jv has been sorted and that is just off the top of my head. While the company have done well, this under promise over deliver mantra has always been a complete fallacy. And if we had over delivered what use would it be when nothing is promoted. | soulsauce
26/9/2021 11:02 | My thoughts are, if KS believes he can take this from 50m to 500m MC in 10 years, with his history of under promising and over delivering, he is likely to better that, he is also a lot wiser now regarding corporate business, JV's acquisitions, huge lessons learned over last 5-10 years, if not longer. If you are in this sector, then you know AAU, I can imagine there are numerous prospects out there wanting to have us on board, who wouldn't with our track record, remember very few ever get to this position, now cash and asset rich, highly skilled and at the forefront with cutting edge tech being used, with growing team of exceptional geologist's and support staff. It wont be long! | renniks2016
26/9/2021 10:36 | Well if the lack of PR was something new I might have a tendency to agree with you Jaf, truth is it's not. When was the last broker note? One was promised in July and still nothing. | soulsauce |
