Not saying it's easy. I know people in Perth too. Some have consciously avoided travel, others have decided they had to travel. KS residence status may be a complication, I don't know, but mining folk have been travelling.

I wasn't aware of that to be fair my mum lives in Perth and she said it's pretty rigid but if they can fly for business I'll take your word. Suppose quarantine rules my be unhelpful however at destinations. I do take your point as to how things seem slow but that a mining company for you. I extremely pleased with progress and direction. Just not pleased with the communication of the progress to be a wider audience. Interviews reiterating the content of an rns doesn't do it for me. The more this message is given to them the more likely they will listen.

I just felt it could be preparatory to him staying in Australia longer term. For personal reasons most probably, yes. I may be wrong, but let's wait and see. I am heavily invested in Australia btw. It is quite possible for people to travel for business reasons. I don't know KS personal situation, but I know for sure that other MDs etc have travelled from and to Australia in recent months.

Still hoping Asgard takes a chunk of the Palm NewCo listing.
The nickel asset alone at Merolia could be a game changer for an investment of $500k.

One of the most understated elements regarding this company is the team behind it, I'm not referring to the BoD but the people that enable these guys to do what they do, look back at the performances of the JV, how effectively the mine is run, they have never failed to meet or beat expectations. No incidents, no down time, even mine upgrade has gone on without a hitch, on time, on budget and no doubt beat all production guidelines. Testimony to having a great team on board, and it doesn't stop there, how many drill results have disappointed, resource updates that have not well surpassed feasibility expectations, again coming from having the right people in the right places with the right motivation. Great companies are built from the ground up, the foundations they have put in place here will pay dividends in the long run, excuse the pun! Happy days I say and credit where credit is due, well done team Ariana ?

Snails pace in reference to dividend I admit and expectations could have been managed a lot better. Tarsvan was affected by Covid. But the position we are in now is exceptional for a small mining company. As to the investment fund keeping KS in Australia is ridiculous considering it equates to less than two percent of the assets. If KS stays in Aussie it will be for personal reasons. When Covid restrictions lift there's nothing to stop a base in Aussie and quarterly visits to sites and zoom team calls.

Dude, this really isn't a typical AIM company! Nothing like!

You'll have to forgive me if I don't give much weight to those kind of stated intentions from an AIM CEO. Let's see how things develop.

Kerim has stated his intention to turn the company into 500 million Market cap. Don't think he intends doing that entirely from Oz!

Yet another buying opportunity. As I said previously, I see the "investment fund" as a mechanism to allow KS to stay in Australia indefinitely. Some may be fine with that, but I don't think it's ideal, unless he is also changing his role in the company. Maybe there will be some structural changes in Ariana once this snail's pace process completes?

To be fair it's given a tremendous buying opportunity. When an investor is selling up for personal reason (or lost patience) and it's nothing to do with fundamentals it affects the price obviously but the company is in the strongest position it's ever been in so no brainer to add if you have the resources of course.

No problem ricksen. The first tranche of 0.35p/ps should be paid before 30th Sept.

Given how long we have had to wait for this, don't be surprised if it is paid at 12 noon on that date ;-)

Thanks soulsauce. Ye, seems like a fantastic incentive to buy aau, coupled with the promising projects the company is working on. 👍

With news in the week that Kerim was on walk-a-bout, it was always unlikely that we would see any news, but as Soul says, it makes next week a pretty good bet.

Whilst Mr K is out doing one of the many things he's good at (Geology) for PALM, I cant help but think he might have his We Love Asgard Metals Pty. T shirt on under his blue kaggool.

picking up a few of the ones being drop when possible. Roll on next Tuesday.

Thought this was worth posting. It shows the malaise in gold miners is quite widespread with fewer than 12% trading above their 50 day ma.

Fingers crossed sentiment changes here.
