I've said before I don't care about a dividend. It just turns a capital gain into an income payment so it's a slight negative if anything. I would be quite happy for AAU to use cash to grow as I assume they have access to opportunities that I don't

we were promised 50 % of the sales proceeds as a divi - and it can not be paid out due to the accounting and law regulations NOW - even after getting equity (profits & losses) account up to date. we were not told how and possibly when they are goig to make up the difference from 0,7p to the promised payment. A PLAN with technical explanation would be appreciated. Silence is filled with further superb drilling success.

Time to move on and start looking at the potential. Over the last couple of years I've wobbled in faith with Kerim but you can't argue that he doesn't have a plan. I'm here until Salinbas circa 2025 if all goes to plan the returns will be better than most other investments IMHO.

With the new processing capacity about to come on line, this grade, when filtered in with the existing stock pile will bring oz volume right up, add another year to mine life, and still more potential down dip. The increased silver credits will far exceed additional cost of transporting, so cost average still low. Happy days.

Going back to drill it out as well, shows the significance this has when you combine it with the new ball mill.If we can get news on Tavsan over the next few months on top of the increased income potential at Kizil this will have to re rate.

Capital gains derived by a company generally are taxable as ordinary income (15%). However, 75% of capital gains derived from the sale of domestic participations are exempt from corporation tax subject to certain conditions which include sale of properties and transfer of shares.

JV - no royalty of 1-2 %. most of the others get it - specially if the model is explore, discover, define and sell.

sell consists of: shares, cash, warrants, royalty.....

we got cash and no "cream income" that does not depend on the JV partners or other factors such a profitability of the operations, JV financing requerments etc

You lot aren't doing yourself any favours! Don't you want to generate new interest beyond the 12 posters on here? 14% yield even if split over three tranches is a great return. Where else on AIM are you getting that with the security you have here? It's not that easy running a successful company and they are not doing a bad job of it even if it doesn't meet your ideal model.

Thanksamillion - one reason I'm here may be connected with getting a kick out of self flagellation, since I still have a small holding and should have sold the balance earlier, but always looking for proof that I'm not any more silly than other investors here.

Good luck to the punters who bought into the company in its infancy, but I didn't.
As an insignificant holder, I do have the luxury of being able to see the wood beyond the trees, so can afford to be just a little bit more dispassionate than the larger holders who are more aligned to the company's fortunes.

My experience suggests that complexity rarely results in a good outcome, and AAU seems to have it in spades. This complexity might be there for a purpose, ie to create a smoke screen, so as to avoid having to deal with the nitty gritty, that is if they're capable ; hence my negativity here. Great if I'm proved wrong, but so far........

Seems to take a long time for the clever people here to open their eyes. Supposed financial intelligence may be in abundance here, but what is it they say ; common sense is not so common.

AIM-listed Gold producer in Turkey, Ariana (AAU), has done very well over the past couple of years and shareholders now find themselves on the cusp of a decent payday. The long-awaited Special Dividend has been announced – in three tranches – for a total of 0.7p per share (as long-predicted on these pages), with the first payment of 0.35p per share due during Q3 and the balance during the coming year. Hooray and double hooray: it has taken some time, but CEO Kerim Sener has delivered. So where now for the shares?
