Complete the JV, give an update on Cyprus and further drilling results from Salinbas. That's my advent wish list

Well, well. Nice cash return. Whilst the deal is taking its time looks like they must be getting through the detail and this is tidying up before it’s signed.

Be good to understand their full ambitions once the JV is done.

Cyprus must be just the start.

The news that HUM has failed to meeting lower guidance just puts into perspective how well AAU has done over this difficult time. Did tip my toe into HUM recently as they had come off 25% at sub 30p feel they may be somewhat lower by the end of day. Ha ho .

Sounds to me that kiziltepe and satellites are the cash cow, exploration in salinbas exceptionally promising and free ride potentially blue sky and AAU is left to concentrate on exploring and developing Cyprus plus other regions with the cash. An exceptional business model if you ask me.

Lovely news, more cash. I should imagine it includes Irvindi too but just mentions Kizilkukur.
They are going to need that extra ore to feed the updated plant.

Don't know about indication it's basically reaffirmed deal is on. They are just tidying up the projects into the JV . Obviously this has added slightly more complexity to deal wording but I'd hope for circular anytime.

And must thank you for pointing me in that direction which had the same result for me. It's amazing that CHF has gone to market cap £11m on the fact that they have licences done drilling but still await assay results and a large player buying in 25%. I actually don't believe Cyprus is valued into Arianas shareprice and we have a resource there plus excellent licences. Mad really but will come out in fullness of time.

Good indication the deal is still on and again more cash to AAU. If they keep this up our cash balance will equal market value!

I must say I really have to thank aau for being a bit cryptic about what they were up to in Cyprus which erroneously made me think a jv with chf was on the cards and made me pile in there which has now made a very swift 5 bagger .....

Beryl effectively told us everything went ok and I haven't heard any different but I agree it's time for an update rns just to steady the waiverers

Nicely bigglesbingham.

I must admit I was rather annoyed yesterday when there was no update. I mean how did the meeting of the 3 parties go. Ok probably can't tell us everything but at least throw us a bone so we know where we are and it isn't going to be 21 before we hear anything else.

The fact is that any sustained selling such as today's large transactions will inevitably hold the share price back and has done so in the past, it would be nice to see a time when any rise in the share price is not sold off in large volumes and given its head, perhaps one day!

In fairness I only took off the table money I wouldn't have normally invested as it was earmarked for tax but couldn't resist as price was so low. When I did sell back down to 3% level I did so at very low rate not 250k per day which this seller does when there have been 250k worth of buys. This leads me to assume it's a large holder reducing for whatever reason.

fair enough Kirbs4 , certainly a slow burner here, wake me up when we get news :-)

Must admit I've been tempted lately. I took a chunk off the table in recent months and moved it across to CHF and PALM, have had my finger hovering over the sell button again this last week or two. Just feel there is a lack of urgency when it comes to realising s/holder value here and that alternatives will rise more in the short term. Its played out that way too. My plan was to bring profit back here and hope it wasn't too much higher, its actually lower but I still see more immediate potential elsewhere. Very much believe in the long term here and I may well miss some form of boat with the funds I have elsewhere, but AAU would need to at least double before moving was a bad idea! Wish they would focus both comms and actions more on s/holder value, believe it would help maintain the share price in the absence of news.

They're only doing what large holders like KS and Biggles have recently done. The prudent approach is always to take some off the table.

The 'big seller' appears to be active today selling in 2 blocks of 250k, 1 x 200k and 1 x 100k, total 800k that's half of todays current volume if indeed it is one individual but this pattern has been seen many times. Probably, if correct, a big holder who has got bored with the drawn out wait for the JV looking to pastures anew.
