23/10/2019 16:14 | JD - precisely that is also what I am looking for. Unlike some miners that get investors hopes up and then fail to deliver, AAU has always underpromised and overdelivered. And I have never felt let down by the company's achievements. I get the feeling that Kerim is honest and is willing to learn from his mistakes (which were mainly on his choice of funding), but those days are long gone now. | charles clore
23/10/2019 15:19 | Beware the reported trades, I just got a quote for 500k @ 2.05. I don't really want too much hype from the management, what I look for is more coverage in the press, the papers and investment magazines. I would worry if the board pushed the message down our throats then didn't deliver - but that is just a personal preference. | jaynesdad
23/10/2019 14:59 | But amazing nothing on Tavsan. If I was a new investor listening for the first time, would this really excite me?As usual a bit too matter of fact and going through the motions. We need more spark. More on FCF generation, the reasons for our undervaluation imo.How are the Q&A coming along I wonder? | plasybryn
23/10/2019 14:24 | A very encouraging interview with Proactive | charles clore
23/10/2019 13:01 | Cyprus still heading forwards.....! | shortarm

22/10/2019 17:56 | That's me communicating with market makers saying my target price 180p ha ha | bigglesbingham
22/10/2019 17:03 | Own up Biggles, did you really sell 180 shares all in one go ? | swallowsflysouth
22/10/2019 16:23 | Off subject, but can I recommend the new film Official Secrets. It is based on a true story and is brilliant. A must see imo. | plasybryn
22/10/2019 15:15 | soulman, you come across as Liberal Democrat. | ekuuleus
22/10/2019 12:40 | I think 2tick might be Artificial ‘Intelligence& | soulman
22/10/2019 10:46 | Markets aren't about logic or economics biggles. Investors buy or sell according to fear and greed in repeating fractal patterns. | 2tyke
22/10/2019 10:07 | biggles - all to the good for AAU afficionados. | charles clore
22/10/2019 09:32 | It's a no loss for them really, they push it forward they have cash to do necessaries to build the project to attract a major, if they sell it will be on their terms. Don't understand how the markets aren't picking this simple but effective strategy up. | bigglesbingham
22/10/2019 08:35 | If there was any serious hint of a major getting on board at Salinbas I think the share price would double within days. I have said before the current price is ridiculous and does not in any way represent the company's achievements, profitability or risk profile. | charles clore
22/10/2019 07:59 | I think AAU have managed the newsflow very well here, culminating in yesterdays report. You couldn't really ask for more in that respect. As ever, other forces beyond control conspire to work against the company's profile. It's all there and really good - feels like PI's need 'luck' more than anything now. | dixi
22/10/2019 07:55 | I thought they were always prepared to contemplate a sale of Salinbas; it was just a matter of extracting proper value. No point selling it before they had proved what was there sufficiently. But with their increasing free cash and confidence I think they have shifted on that a bit and would now be quite happy to take it forward with a suitable partner or even on their own. I think they just keep an open mind to all possibilities but probably agree that to do it justice they would need the help of a heavyweight | plasybryn
22/10/2019 07:44 | Not necessarily depending on reserves they are sat on and potentially other prospects ie Cyprus. My thoughts only but if I wanted to sell salinbas I'd make sure everyone didn't think I wanted to sell. It's how I'd approach it. | bigglesbingham
22/10/2019 00:03 | Do we expect any further RNS'? We have had 4, I think, in the last week. Raise the profile, keep the company in the news? Was interested in Biggles remark about the possibility of sale of Salinbas, had not thought of that as it seems to take away the long term prospects of the company as a going concern | jaynesdad
21/10/2019 18:46 | You just "nailed it", JD with your comments about AIM and your thoughts about "most Ariana shareholders". That fits me exactly. I have been bitten several times while invested in minnow miners on AIM (or its transatlantic equivalents) and my most recent move has therefore been into gold royalties to kinda hopefully "get it both ways". | desertjoe
21/10/2019 18:41 | Expecting revenue around $11.8m for the quarter. This compares with just over $10m for the corresponding quarter last year. Excellent results. | bigglesbingham
21/10/2019 18:27 | They have said that the resources being found would oust mine life to 11-12 years which implies another 10 left. With all new veins I'd be expecting mine life beyond 10 or mine cap increased | bigglesbingham
21/10/2019 18:25 | I see them progressing as though they are going to produce a salinbas but I believe they will be looking to sure up on reserves and offload . By implying they are intending to produce there means that if a buyer comes in then it's going to be top dollar. In other words we don't have to sell but if you want to make us a bid .....,,, Brexit negotiations should have been done same way rather than telling EU we will have a deal please we've no alternatives. But ha ho, | bigglesbingham
21/10/2019 15:55 | The 10 years doesn't I assume take account of Kepez, Kizilcukur or Ivrindi- not sure I have spelt that right. Just related to Red Rabbit open pit. On top of that is the potential for an underground mine at Red Rabbit. Kerim also mentioned recently they could process ore at their site from other mines in the vacinity I believe. | plasybryn
21/10/2019 14:59 | I expect it will be clear in the RNS statement when it comes. I would hope for 10 years from now as otherwise there is a risk of a gap in production until anything happens in Salinbas/Ardala - the last comment I read was that it was likely to be the best part of a decade before production starts there, though I suppose with a JV partner that may be shorter. | jaynesdad |
