16/8/2019 15:31 | Paying off its debt $1m a month (or thereabouts) whilst also getting richer each month re gold now circa $1500, it's bewildering the share price is down here but surely it won't be for long?? | mcmather
16/8/2019 14:41 | I had bed and ISA done today so some shares sold are repurchased. Have 350k in my isa now which for me is a lot. Hoping to accumulate 500k shares before loans paid off | theduke420
16/8/2019 14:26 | nah - if it was bots tracking the gold price we would probably be at 2.5p+ by now | charles clore
16/8/2019 13:44 | Today's share price movement seems to follow the gold price, could it be bots trading accordingly. | thanksamillion
16/8/2019 13:39 | Biggles, informative post. Thanks. I've never posted on here before as I use LSE board sometimes, but have been invested here for a few years now. Some very good posters here with knowledge and healthy share ownership in AAU. Thanks for all your comments. | claretandbluedave
16/8/2019 12:41 | Thanks bigglesbingham nice work as usual. | soulsauce

16/8/2019 12:34 | Are you surprised really Plasybryn? How can you be surprised when you gave all the reasons yesterday why your beloved broker still couldn't get institutions interested even when it's a screaming buy. Oh hold on a minute now the market cap may have dropped too far for them to get their clients in lol. Yes may be they will buy when it's 100% certain they will make money cos that's what institutions do - not. | soulsauce
16/8/2019 12:03 | Thanks biggles. I agree totally with what you have said, but bit surprised still no apparent Institutional interest. Perhaps as someone said yesterday, they ideally want us to be mega risk free with nil debt. Anyway no shenanigans going on to get someone in on the cheap! | plasybryn
16/8/2019 11:20 | Small sells hammered and then loads of buys doesn't move. Spoke to MDV yesterday about rumours regarding depressing price to allow institutional investor in and he said no substance atall. News flow will pick up dramatically shortly , EIA still progressing with tarsvan, dividends still coming from JV , some results still with labs but turkey closes down for national hols. Everything on track was the message. To me the fundamentals are better than ever and when debt paid off they will be in an extremely strong position. I asked if he was happy with everything and although he couldn't tell me if it wasn't I got the feeling that circumstance ie hols was delaying newsflow. With a small company you have to take advantage of national hols and to issue rns the main men have to approve, just unfortunate that the silence has coincided with profit taking and price of gold. I realistically expect this to be back to 2.5p six months before debt fully repaid. One other thing is over last two months the share has be traded over 2p creating support for next leg up. All above is my own thoughts and to any newbies I have a good holding. GLA | bigglesbingham
16/8/2019 11:03 | Paul no need to apologise no offence taken. I think everyone knows by now I give as good as I get and vice versa. | soulsauce
16/8/2019 11:03 | Perfect for a share buy back scheme..... | drh3
16/8/2019 10:49 | That it may be Charles but it really shouldn't have fallen back at all in this current environment. I could understand a pull back if it had gone to 3p and back testing down to 2.5p but really back down to 1.9p when gold has gone up $250 per oz since we tested 2.5p. Obviously shareholders were spooked by the drop in production and perceived underwhelming results from Salinbas and moronic penny punters saying take profits, but we should have at least taken some strength from the massive increase in PMs. | soulsauce
16/8/2019 10:40 | soul - shows the price testing the 200mda. If it broke below it I would be less happy. | charles clore
16/8/2019 10:38 | Usually I would agree Charles but against the rise in gold it looks rather odd, it already being undervalued at $1250 gold. Ok cheers Shortarm, I hadn't looked at the trades just saw someone mention 600k. | soulsauce
16/8/2019 10:33 | gs888 - on the contrary this retrace is extremely healthy for the chart, as you are probably aware. | charles clore
16/8/2019 10:20 | Shame we have this size re-trace with Gold where it is, and subsequent chart damage does not good . I am with soulsauce on this one. | goldenshare888
16/8/2019 10:01 | Soul, the 08:21 sale was a hundred shares - I feel sarcasm was involved:-) | shortarm
16/8/2019 09:54 | No paul I don't own a large amount anymore, it keeps me sane that way for the very reasons we are seeing and have seen on multiple occasions since I first held pre 2010. | soulsauce |
