17/7/2019 08:58 | Bit like the Salinbas RNS; not overly spectacular but all seems on track; metallurgical recovery rate increased this quarter and this quarter's production is still above 2019 guidance of 25,000oz au: Q3 2018 - Plant feed 4.91g/t au - gold produced 7,556oz. Q4 2018 - Plant feed 5.23g/t au - gold produced 7,517oz. Q1 2019 - Plant feed 4.83g/t au - gold produced 7,296oz. Q2 2019 - Plant feed 4.16g/t au - gold produced 6,438oz. Open Pit - mined grade Q2 2019 was 4.59g/t au so hopefully Q3 2019 might be back above 7000oz?? | mcmather
17/7/2019 08:41 | biggles - I think you are right about the range of options increasing after next April. Already the company is demonstrating when it has the cash it doesn't spare the horses on drilling and I expect this kind of positive thinking will continue. | charles clore
17/7/2019 08:41 | The nice thing about Ariana is it's being ran solidly with fundamentals becoming stronger by the day. This means the share price will gradually reflect these improving fundamentals without the huge volatility the speculation companies endure. Some may not like steady rises but for larger holdings it suits. | bigglesbingham
17/7/2019 08:35 | Gold produced is down 10% on same period last year, however pog is up around 15%. Increased Silver produced q2 is of little financial consequence. Onward and upward then. As previously noted the message from Kerim's video that most caught my attention was " we need to think bigger". | thanksamillion
17/7/2019 08:33 | Solid results again the smaller investors selling into news which is to be expected here. Hopefully with the price of gold increasing last quarter albeit at the end the income won't be to dissimilar to precious quarter. On a different note if tarsvan is funded by similar debt structure to kiziltepe, then the repayment will only occur when tarsvan is producing thus the cash from kiziltepe will be significant from April and available for all projects and will give the company huge options any views?? | bigglesbingham
17/7/2019 08:31 | Higher gold price should have off set much of the drop unless costs increased. | soulsauce
17/7/2019 08:22 | A good performance under less than ideal conditions. Interesting to note that production of silver is almost double that of the same period last year with silver looking about to break out of a 6-year trading range. | charles clore
17/7/2019 07:57 | Great business being run, even in heavier rainfall they are at record movement rates, should only increase once rain slows down. "We are very pleased to report strong second quarter 2019 operational performance at Kiziltepe, including one of the highest material movement rates in the mine's history. Gold production during the quarter was again above target, although operations continued to be constrained by the pushback underway on the southern wall of the pit. Careful stockpile management through the period enabled mill throughput to be maintained according to guidance. While a pattern of unusually wet weather has continued even into July, progress on pit development has been continuing at pace and material movements have increased further." | ileeman
17/7/2019 07:26 | Solid results, nice. | ileeman
17/7/2019 06:57 | JD, yes i believe you are correct, sounds very interesting. | swallowsflysouth
16/7/2019 23:12 | SFS The company previously published photos which, from memory, stated that a very rich vein had been found which appeared to go between Arzu N & S. There was question whether this was a prospect for U/G mining. Although most mining has now been finished in Arzu S there is a question mark over whether there are deeper veins as yet undiscovered. I assume this is what the new RC hopes to address. Because of this the company is to delay backfilling Arzu S from Arzu N spoil, which is the long term plan to 'beautify' the mined out pits (presumably this is part of an ecological agreement they have). | jaynesdad
16/7/2019 22:51 | From memory wasn't something said about the possibility of a underground mine there ? | swallowsflysouth
16/7/2019 22:27 | FFS, are they drilling for oil ?!! That's a beast of a drilling rig compared to what I normally see in photos. | temujiin
16/7/2019 20:53 | Agree Charles that is a handy piece of kit. | soulsauce
16/7/2019 20:10 | Cheers for the video AE. "We need to think bigger" re Salinbas North / Ardala North; interesting comment. | mcmather
16/7/2019 19:20 | Thats right soul. They are going underneath! That's what Kerim said in the podcast. But can you believe the size of that rig? It looks enormous and it's being paid for by existing production. No fundraising needed now which just shows how far the company has travelled in the space of 2 or 3 years. Marvellous job Kerim. | charles clore
16/7/2019 18:02 | Drilling deeper into the existing open pit? | soulsauce
16/7/2019 17:17 | Ariana Resources plc @ArianaResources 7 minutes ago GMS Sondaj RC rig and compressor arrived on site at Kiziltepe Mine a little earlier - drilling starting up on Thursday! #AAU #gold #mine | someuwin
16/7/2019 15:53 | Historically it has been viewed that there is about 15 times as much silver as gold in the earth and the traditional usage as a currency reflected this. I note that the US geological survey indicates about 17.5 times but it has been many years since the prices reflected this ratio, the closest being in 1980 when there was an attempt to corner the silver market. | jc2706
16/7/2019 15:09 | yes, gold-silver ratio starting to slowly shrink. edit: or I should say it's about static now, long way to go when you consider that there is about 30ozs silver to each 1 oz of gold in the earth the ratio should not be 90 odd. | graylyn1
16/7/2019 14:41 | Silver at weekly highs, gold not far behind. AAU shareprice looking even cheaper. | ileeman
16/7/2019 14:36 | My understanding of the reason that the company originally started the process of being able to buy back shares is so that the employees in Turkey have some way of selling their shares if they wish to. The problem is that although they are given shares if they wish to sell, to put as a deposit on a house for instance, there is nowhere that they can sell. The company were trying to correct that. | paul280i
16/7/2019 12:20 | Thanks for posting always. Interesting more drilling at kiziltepe. Salinbas sounding very interesting but more drilling unlikely til next year. Tasvan still a way off production. Q2 production imminent. | soulsauce
16/7/2019 11:59 | I believe the original intention was to buy some shares for treasury so that they could be used as employee incentives. I would imagine the number of shares would be fairly small (less than a million)and have no problem with that. However, I agree that a full-on share buy back using millions of the company's cash would be quite wrong. edit - a very good interview with Kerim. He shows a lot of confidence and just gets better and better at this doesn't he? Also, Q2 update imminent (straight from the horses mouth). | charles clore |
