what can be improved on is "the story". meaning a poster child majority owned project in full control is needed. as AAU tend to possibly but not probably loose control on those minority owned projects over time. we were never told JV clauses that are preventing such a scenario - AAU being pushed out into passive iliquid (if not quoted) no divi paying stake holder - after all is well and running - done by AAU team.

what I like is AAU "capital light" MO. they buy in cheap - doing lots general historic etc research before striking. then they tend to increase their stake by providing services. they almost never miss in geology (I think they never missed ) and tend to be lowest production cost miner.

For information to any newbies doing basic research this is a summary of Ariana assets:

1. 23.5% interest in Zenit Madencilik San. ve Tic. A.S. a joint venture with Ozaltin Holding A.S. and Proccea Construction Co. in Turkey containing a depleted total of c. 2.1 million ounces of gold and other metals (as at July 2020). Within the JV:
a) The Kiziltepe Gold-Silver Mine in western Turkey contains a depleted JORC Measured, Indicated and Inferred Resource of 227,000 ounces gold and 3.7 million ounces silver (as at April 2020). The mine has been in profitable production since 2017 and is expected to produce at a rate of c.20,000 ounces of gold per annum to at least the mid-2020s.
b) The Tavsan Gold Project located in western Turkey contains a JORC Measured, Indicated and Inferred Resource of 253,000 ounces gold and 0.7 million ounces silver (as at June 2020).
c) The Salinbas Gold Project located in north-eastern Turkey contains a JORC Measured, Indicated and Inferred Resource of 1.5 million ounces of gold (as at July 2020). It is located within the multi-million ounce Artvin Goldfield, which contains the "Hot Gold Corridor" comprising several significant gold-copper projects including the 4 million ounce Hot Maden project.

2. Ariana owns 75% of UK-registered Western Tethyan Resources Ltd ("WTR"), which operates across Eastern Europe and is based in Pristina, Republic of Kosovo. The company is targeting its exploration on major copper-gold deposits across the porphyry-epithermal transition.

3. Ariana owns 50% of UK-registered Venus Minerals Ltd ("Venus") which is focused on the exploration and development of copper-gold assets in Cyprus which contain a combined JORC Indicated and Inferred Resource of 16.6Mt @ 0.45% to 1.10% copper (excluding additional gold, silver and zinc).

4. Ariana owns 100% of Australia-registered Asgard Metals Fund ("Asgard"), as part of the Company's proprietary Project Catalyst Strategy. The Fund will be focused on investments in high-value potential, discovery-stage mineral exploration companies located across the Eastern Hemisphere.

5. $23m cash

MD buying in the market at market rates speaks volumes to me as does their strategy all be it you have to read everything but it's there in black and white. Excellent rns after excellent rns the company gets stronger daily. Plus a nice dividend of 0.175p in March still makes these ridiculously cheap. Would like to know how much they have in the bank, just to realise exactly how undervalued it actually is .

they are minority owner all around. how did they assure the divi payment from their minority stakes? or is that left to the trust into other people forming the JV. I got systematically burned myself on that premise and similar modus operandi - after years of effort - when the money was to be split.... get lost - we will vote - democracy at its best

"In addition, Venus has engaged consultants to assess the condition and capacity of the processing plant which is on standby for re-installation at the Apliki site. Based on an initial review it is clear that some additional processing upside exists, which will complement any growth in the resource base."

it is so stupifying easy - and once there is a arms length distance PR material - Co can use it - we can use it ...

I am probably to simple for the big business to understand its complexity - or is it just being lazy as it is with myself
