06/12/2021 07:42 | For once *there is a seller in the background" was correct and it was a director. What a company. | kirbs4
06/12/2021 07:38 | Lot of babies that feel hard done by because someone else is doing well! It's pathetic!! | shortarm
06/12/2021 07:32 | The options were above the shareprice when granted! You want them to move up? | shortarm
06/12/2021 07:30 | Bosbus, LOL - hope you are right. | jaf1948
06/12/2021 07:27 | Oh dear. Optionsgate once again. Well said DP. | soulsauce
06/12/2021 07:25 | Very unfortunate. AAU is starting to look like a lifestyle company for the directors. No excuse for such ridiculous options. Well run companies don't do this, spivvy ones do | donald pond
06/12/2021 07:12 | RNS. That explains some of the large sells last week. | scorscribler
05/12/2021 22:45 | Good to hear all your points of view many of which I agree with. I have found the stretching out of what I thought was the timeline quite disturbing. If I had a number after my name Jaf it would be 47 so I appreciate your angst. I'm 18% down which is uncomfortable. I am though, expecting some Christmas cheer. Maybe break-even? | bosbus
05/12/2021 20:08 | Can't argue with that bigglesbingham but what is it going to take for him to wake up? | soulsauce
05/12/2021 19:44 | When you get to your mid 70s, time lines start getting compacted so they are somewhat fluid. | jaf1948
05/12/2021 19:19 | Totally get that JAF I see a lot happening by end 2022 is that in your time line | bigglesbingham
05/12/2021 19:17 | Suppose it's down to timeline of return I would suggest I'm on similar to MDV. Do take on board your points. My point is I'm sure they aren't adverse to increase Shareprice I just don't think they have performed well enough in delegating this aspect of the business. I think KS is exceptionally loyal to PG and imho it's wrong because I personally don't have a good experience dealing with them and their results are shocking in terms of getting institutions involved. Stubbornness is sometimes a big positive but can also be a negative and in respect of PR it's a negative. In terms of the development of the company it's been exceptional let's hope it will value out, I'm sure it will. | bigglesbingham
05/12/2021 16:00 | Biggles, 'It’s why comments relating to board not being bothered about Shareprice sometimes frustrates me as their interest and shareholders are aligned.' Our interests may well be aligned but our timescales may not be. | jaf1948
05/12/2021 15:52 | With regards to your concern re KS ownership in shares you have to take into account his sole job has been AAU , he hasn't earned huge monies , he's amassed 21m shares on open market and took part in all capital raises. He crystallised his warrants for personal use I assume to do with moving to Australia. The have so much skin in the game is a lot higher risk to him than it is to others because nearly all his earnings are linked to AAU. So to increase holding is a huge plus in my book. MDV has over 55m and same applies. It's one of main reasons why I invest so much here. It's why comments relating to board not being bothered about Shareprice sometimes frustrates me as their interest and shareholders are aligned. I just think PR and promotion is not a strength of the board and their delegation choices are questionable. | bigglesbingham
05/12/2021 13:59 | Thanks,that's reassuring. | bosbus
04/12/2021 20:44 | I've been away from home for a few days with very limited 2/3 g reception and am trying to catch up re pg brokers note. The only one I can find is dated 4th Nov. Things have only improved since then so I'm holding tight with fingers crossed and hope that pg or a replacement will up the ante. Am concerned that KS only holds 21m shares after his last purchase? I am small fry but am holding in excess of 1m and BB possibly holds more than KS. Would be interesting to know how much of the company is owned by this board. | bosbus
03/12/2021 22:39 | My view is what a broker does in creating a broker note is they look at current value then add a figure which doesn't make them look too optimistic say 15% then fudge all figures to match their new share price. As example on 28th august 2020 the valued salinbas at $53 m and we had 100% so 5.04 p nav a year later no real work been done there but they value it at $134m and our 23.5% equates to 2.88p nav. How the hell can they justify increase like that??? The answer is they can't and plucking figures from thin air to justify a reasonable price increase based on current Shareprice. I'm not surprised because they are in a part of the industry I have no respect for. I also believe KS doesn't think much of brokers but Hodgson sold himself to him. I haven't seen anything to impress me, no results for years and rubbish notes which are factually incorrect. Yes the board should see this but they don't. | bigglesbingham
03/12/2021 22:13 | Short arm on page three paragraph 1 states it more than doubles the gold production of zenit so a contradiction. What a bunch of idiots these guys are paying lip service to AAU. It's also says production from tavsan in 2023 Q1 then page three it states Q2/3. Beggars belief! | bigglesbingham
03/12/2021 21:57 | Questions have been directed let's see what the reply is? | bigglesbingham
03/12/2021 18:06 | A few have suggested that PG are big hitters, that taking on a tiny company like AAU is not their usual modus operandi. I feel it shows.I'm not sure how firing the broker would be perceived. But they are doing absolutely nothing to promote AAU.It would be interesting to have KS's take on this, but of course that will never happen. Surely he cannot be happy with this at all? | dixi
03/12/2021 17:53 | A 23% drop in the target price by the House Broker makes you ask whose side are they on. I've always tried to defend them but I'm shocked by this apparent kick in the teeth for Kerim and the Co. They seem to be saying the Transaction, as it was known, was capital dilutive, notwithstanding all the very positive announcements made since their last Note. I have to say I agree with the sentiment and the questions asked, namely what the F are we paying for? | plasybryn
03/12/2021 15:09 | And by then we will more than likely be taking some very nice income from Apliki supplimented with ore from Kokkinoyia. | soulsauce
03/12/2021 13:50 | With Tavshan producing AAU will be making about ten million a year? If they give out half a pence dividend that’ll do? Then there’s 50,000 oz from Salinbas and a load of copper too! | shortarm
03/12/2021 13:30 | My sentiments exactly Thanksamillion. It's a work of fiction and I continue to be confused as to why we persist with them. I think most of us are fuming. They often say be careful what you wish for. Well that is right for me on this occasion. My bad 🙄 | soulsauce |
