Oh, and by the way the terms of the Kosovo deal just shows the powerful force we have now become. I liked the fact that a London listing was created for the new entity.

5.6 for 250 shows how tightly these are held at the minute

quoted 5.6 for 250K ! Had to settle for 100k & 60K @ 5.17 and 50K 5.28 that should encourage some to let a few go. ;)

To correct myself think there needs to be some updates on Salinbas and Tavsan before Corporate overview would make sense.

Same Charles but I'm hopeful this won't be the only investment we see from AAU. This is where we could do with an updated corporate presentation

Was kind of hoping for a slightly more advanced project in Eastern Europe but hey, this one is cheap and has potential.

'As part of their diversification strategy' As AAU have shown their strength seems to be knowing where to drill. Another couple of early stage investments like this would certainly help the news flow. It's probably cost them less than the interest they have made on their cash pile

Very early stage exploration but a start. I just hope there is something a bit more substantial to buy into with the cash pile to replace what has been sold in Turkey.

Neighbouring Albania eg Mirdita region very rich in Silver and not really explored, probably same geological entity. AAU certainly love exploration!

Interesting to see North Macedonia mentioned, as Zak was out there some years ago working with Genesis, could well know more about that than most, very shrewd and wise investments, i think this is just the start, at £100K its small change with long term aims. I titbit to keep a few happy, I do not think for one minute that is the last we hear on where we are heading. I like Tuesdays!

Well 100,000 EUR won't damage the cash pile much. Pretty shrewd but grassroots, our pipeline is going to be non stop over the coming years. Could do with some news to get the share price moving. Lots of reading to do on this deal later.

I did not get why some use name Basil instead of Basel and here it is...

"The name of Basel is first recorded as Basilia in the 3rd century (237/8), at the time referring to the Roman castle. This name is mostly interpreted as deriving from the personal name Basilius, from a toponym villa Basilia ("estate of Basilius") or similar. "

All this talk of Basil or Gold Standard...….I cannot see a halfway house as you either adhere to the Golden Rule or you don't....with so much paper sludge washing around our world then where is our sense of reality. It is becoming very clear that the dollar will be coming under immense pressure if their printing press hits go without backing but of what? I think the world is tired of manipulation of which ever form it takes.

BASEL at all - frog is boiled slowly - so the frog does not get upset - but it is boiled in the end

if gold is allowed to be valued at 100% (tier 1) rather than 50% (tier 3) as an asset on the books then it means banks/institutions only have to hold half as much to underwrite the same amount of business or to put it another way if they keep holding existing level of physical gold then they can underwrite twice as much business. this is a bear point for gold.

the implications of basel3 on the price of gold are not so much to do with the change in gold's tier rating but rather the unwinding of the unallocated (paper) trading that has been used by some to manipulate the price of gold. this is a bull point for physical gold and given the size of this unallocated market relative to physical gold make this issue massive and the bear point about tier rating becomes almost insignificant.

At least we here can all rest assured we're as best placed as possible, invested in these goldies, come the 28th June and whatever might transpire thereafter, damp sqib or otherwise...
