It's such a silly price. I've added 4million under 5p I just cannot see the value share price disconnect lasting much longer.

a holding rns might do more harm than good. i'd rather they rns'd substantive progress either operational or corporate when they have achieved it. just a thought...as keen as everyone to hear good things!

Yes JAF, A LONG TIME COMING HAS BEEN THIS SPECIAL DIVIDEND.
However, from all calculations it will be worth waiting for and if you hung onto all your shares and in the end didn’t sell any, then you will be a happy chap.

Given that it is now 17 months since they first announced the special dividend and there is still no sight of it, perhaps if they are planning annual dividends from 2023, they ought to announce it now.

thanksamill, that probably was the narrative but now things look different. they have lots of money in the bank (after one-off payout) for exploratory work, and new partner funding $8m to progress salinbas and gp is such that significant profits can be booked on kizil production, so sensible regular divi can be paid and still allow for ongoing operational expenses and reserves to be built up, so hopefully they will reconsider.

anyway first things first, lets see the one-off divi please!

The mood music in earlier discussions re divis indicated a pause of a couple of years before regular divi could be considered. That's the way I read it anyway.

this one-off dividend thing has taken a long time and we dont yet have clarity on timing of payout.

nonetheless, it would be nice to hear something about plans for instating a regular dividend. i assume that once all the hoops for the one-off dividend have been gone through then further divivdends can be paid out without the same pain, so they could fairly quickly put a regular dividend in place, perhaps even commencing with the 2021 interims. a 3% to 5% yield (at current prices) should be very doable, perhaps even conservative, and would put aau on the map for income funds and pis looking for income plays with growth potential. it would give the share price a kick upwards.

all this based on kizil income, so tavsan coming on stream (late 2022 or 2023) will build on that.

Hargreaves Lansdown have not done bed and ISAs for over a year, it's a total pain not being able to do that and having to sell and buy as separate transactions.

Plas - I think the bod has to be careful not to frighten people away with their long awaited dividends and in order to do this they need to incentivise reinvestment by letting out some very good news or very good prospects at the same time as the divi news imho. Shouldn't have long to wait now...

Yes lots to come Plasybryn. I am looking forward to more RR drilling results.
But I see another company has tossed it's hat into the Cyprus copper arena and currently valued at £6m.
I still suggest that being the only company that has a resource there, there is nothing in our valuation for Cyprus.

When you buy more it costs more above a certain level. Always been this way. You effectively have to negotiate to get more. The bid offer is for certain parameters of sale and buy price linked to amounts
