09/2/2021 14:22 | How can Stratex now ORR have nearly half the MC of Ariana?? We need to sink some more holes into Salinbas! | ![]() shortarm
09/2/2021 14:12 | How does it increase shareholder value. It is a zero sum game but in this case you are buying back shares at 7x the money you got from issue. Shows a lack of ambition if nothing else. | ![]() soulsauce
09/2/2021 14:12 | The company needs to show a return for shareholders and the buyback will do that with immediate effect. | ![]() charles clore
09/2/2021 14:10 | To increase shareholder value? | ![]() charles clore
09/2/2021 14:01 | Soul, the company need to explain why they need the power to buy back shares. | ![]() paul280i
09/2/2021 12:14 | Have to say I will be voting against motion 3 share buy backs. I have said it before and will say it again, I don't see the point in raising money at fractions of a penny with bucket shops and having kicked your shareholders in the cobblers only to pay 7x the amount raised to buy them back. Ridiculous. There is plenty to spend money on and projects to invest in. | ![]() soulsauce

09/2/2021 11:42 | Linz22 How you manage that, they charge me 9.99 a month. Memory's not great at my age but I think it may have been quarterly a year or two back, Edit. Oh and I get one free trade a month, which if unused rolls over for a few months before disappearing if unused. | ![]() thanksamillion
09/2/2021 11:20 | UKnight. The £9.99 fee is quarterly, as is the free trade, so it's essentially gratis. The Interactive Investor (ii) service is highly recommendable, (unlike their historic stock tips)..! | ![]() linz22
09/2/2021 11:17 | Thanks Uknighted, will have a read up on them, need to look at how many trades I average. I probably have been guilty of over trading so need to reign it in anyway. | ![]() lottsgold
09/2/2021 11:08 | I'm working on 50% of monies received less tax. To me yesterday's rns was telling me that we are doing what we have to to facilitate what we've told you. Ie 50% of proceeds after tax and charges. I'm working on 22% tax charges (guess) so (37.5/2/1.37)x .78 = £10.65m this equates almost perfectly to 1p a share. Think Shareprophets reckon 07-08p but think they are overegging the tax and charges. | ![]() bigglesbingham
09/2/2021 11:03 | I find interactive investor - ii- good. You pay a monthly fee of £9.99 but you do get 1 free trade per month. | ![]() uknighted
09/2/2021 10:49 | Thanks Xow, they are rubbish I need to move but I'm not sure where to? Any suggestions?I have SIPP with HL, Stocks and Shares ISA and another Stock Dealing account with Halifax. Had these for years and never really had issues being a small fish but starting to notice the issues and they can cost a few percent here and there which adds up! | ![]() lottsgold
09/2/2021 10:34 | @Lotts 3576 HL response to generally not being able to fill an order: "We use something called a 'Price Improvement Service' for online quotes - which polls up to thirty different market makers to try and find you the best quotes on your share deals. Finding that we can't get a quote may be due to the volatility of the stock, the size of the trade or the liquidity of the stock itself." Not sure how that works as I have Level 2 and can see what is on the books, but they often still can't match. | ![]() xow98
09/2/2021 10:30 | Agree.. I sold some recently and bought some of those back yesterday after getting the reassurance that it is all still in motion. I wasn't doing it to 'trade' them, but as a bi-product of the poor communication and resultant share price dip I've made about 0.2p per share. This isn't a triumph for me, I don't consider myself a trader and would much rather have been kept informed and left everything alone while the share price stayed in the 5's! As much as I don't believe Kerim et al are in this bucket, the aim circus is a thing and I don't think anyone ever lost their money in a company with management they didn't trust at some point, so it is always sensible to be wary and protect yourself imo. Onwards and upwards from here hopefully! | kirbs4
09/2/2021 10:24 | bb, what do you think of possibility of the £7.48m they speak of in rns yesterday also being distributed? there was no direct mention of such but wording might have implied its coming? | ![]() konil
09/2/2021 10:18 | Lack of communication does give good buying opportunities though. Don't get me wrong would prefer good communication . | ![]() bigglesbingham
09/2/2021 09:01 | Amazing what communicating with your shareholders/market can do to an share price isn't it. Who would've thought it :). | kirbs4
09/2/2021 09:01 | No large sells so far maybe the selling is over..Struggling to get any on HL but then it is HL... | ![]() lottsgold
09/2/2021 08:53 | Yesterdays turn around has now formed a very nice handle to AAU's 10 year cup. Difficult to believe it will happen, but there is the possibility of a third cup forming over the next 3 or 4 years with a 30p target, there again Salinbas and Cyprus awaits. | ![]() thanksamillion
09/2/2021 08:51 | Johnyee - rough estimates based on information provided by rns and very high level guesstimate of fees/costs comes out at anywhere between 0.7 and 1p across different poster's calculations. Don't think you'll be far wrong assuming the lower end and having a nice bonus if it's higher. | kirbs4
09/2/2021 08:43 | How much is the special divi? | ![]() johnyee 7
