06/1/2021 20:17 | Tem and Paul...what a fantastic summary of where we are right now. | ![]() 8rad
06/1/2021 19:51 | There are some of us LTH who would like a little spending money to relive the effects of holding these shares for 10 years plus. If it wasn't for the dividend I would reluctantly have to join the ranks of the sellers who are keeping this share price below what most see as it's true value. | ![]() paul280i
06/1/2021 16:14 | Sorry but I am not that close to the company to know day to day transactions. I believe they have been actively looking at Cyprus and areas around Kiziltepe and Salinbas they've boxed off. I thought you'd heard something whereby a competitor had bought something close to our properties. Sorry if my comments came across sharp. Been busy day. | ![]() bigglesbingham
06/1/2021 16:03 | When the company starts showing serious shareholder benefits I guess we might start seeing serious investor participation. Until then it is staying firmly where it is. | ![]() charles clore
06/1/2021 15:58 | These figure are made up but are just an example: A company has 1,000,0000,000 shares and 1,000 shareholders each holding 1,000,000 shares. There are approximately 250 trading days a year. If each shareholder decided once every 4 years to sell a block of 100,000 shares, it would appear that there is a persistent seller selling 100,000 shares each and every day. | ![]() jaf1948
06/1/2021 15:45 | Another big sell - 500k, when will this seller finish dumping? | 1candc
06/1/2021 15:39 | I am asking - do you know if there were any auctions for the surrounding exploration plots around, close to the AAU properties that you listed. as it would make huge sense to accumulate imho Sir BB - I apologize for not being able to ask even the most simple question | ![]() kaos3
06/1/2021 15:36 | Cyprus Salinbas tarsvan Kiziltepe . What do you mean ? Who's bought what? What are you referring to? | ![]() bigglesbingham
06/1/2021 15:34 | around ours - any activity? from us? from others? acreage, permissions to explore - cant say it in English | ![]() kaos3
06/1/2021 15:33 | Don't really understand the question licenses where? | ![]() bigglesbingham
06/1/2021 14:59 | maybe they got the thickness of the brown envelope wrong and should send another one soon. | ![]() konil
06/1/2021 14:51 | BB - as licences are great - why did AAU not get surrounding ones lately? did some one else got them? did not look at it - as a gardener my stake is of hobby proportions and hence did not look. do you know this aspect - licences in the neighbourhood in the last 18 months. I would expect lots of action.... | ![]() kaos3
06/1/2021 14:49 | Perhaps the seller considers better short term options elsewhere | ![]() cool hand kev
06/1/2021 14:44 | yes. maybe. are potential buyers co-controlling the process?? just thinking aloud and speculating (spectare=to observe) about what is going on. in fact I have no idea - and you know zillions more | ![]() kaos3
06/1/2021 14:38 | Too simplistic if buyers were lined up what timescale would you be talking about to get it done etc . The deal has been in the making a long time prior to disclosure in nov 19 surely. In effect back to square one. | ![]() bigglesbingham
06/1/2021 14:35 | if I would be Ozaltin for example I would buy it all after the divi. specially as it is small sum and geo strategically concentrated and important | ![]() kaos3
06/1/2021 14:28 | the seller knows the deal will happen, knows the divi will be paid, knows the exploration potential, ..... and keeps selling. despite the value and logic. meaning his reward must be somewhere else probably. it goes on for months so it is neither forced or for tax reason. all imho | ![]() kaos3
06/1/2021 14:16 | It all depends on the completion Rns in my opinion. Kerim has to spell out as positively as possible what he has planned in order to grow that money and the company in a timely fashion. | ![]() soulsauce
06/1/2021 14:16 | whenever there is no TR1 despite persistent large selling, evidently dumping the usual lot when the share price rises, when there is unreasonable low valuation despite reason, share price moving in a predictable range - I learned to accept the usual (following) fact of life - whatever that is ;) happens more and more on AIM unfortunately TA double head did its work despite ridiculing me for that observation some time ago | ![]() kaos3
06/1/2021 14:12 | Maybe you are right Charles.I just think they have a melting pot at the moment whereby no shareholder really benefits by remaining stagnant. If you are a short termer you will see other opportunities and if you are a long termer you already have decent profit which is at risk if this deal doesn't get through, and also have been waiting years for this moment which the company have seemingly little urgency about. All just impressions which the communication issues biggles is flagging would resolve. One thing is certain, they are certainly not Arianna with attitude.I'm far, far from an expert, but my target here has changed, this time last year I saw 10p as achievable quickly and we were sat down in the 2's, now without momentum I see this maybe rising to 6.5/7p on completion, maybe, and the potential for blue sky is sitting in the longer term exploration of Salinbas. Question I therefore have to ask is: am I more likely to achieve better than 25/30% gains elsewhere in the next year. | kirbs4
06/1/2021 14:04 | Kirbs I agree this has lost momentum and there are many other opportunities out there so maybe we will just have to rely on the rising tide of precious metals that will lift all ships. I'm not even excited by the deal prospect anymore. I think AAU could make it quite easily alone or with Proccea. If gold goes to $3k an ounce buyers would be lining up outside for Salinbas imho. | ![]() charles clore
06/1/2021 13:54 | Agree Plas, there is a tendency here to think we are invincible and people are quick to attribute lack of share price progress to one or a few sellers. I'm not saying it isn't, just that there are other explanations. Ultimately we are over a year since this MOU was announced, have been given several deadlines since then all of which were missed, and it still isn't signed. How many companies have we all invested in expecting quick gains from impending news only for management to over commit and fail to deliver. I suspect a number of new investors who hopped on board as part of the rise since last year will be in that boat.As you also mentioned Plas, there are a lot of high performing shares in the last few months that may be more appealing particularly if looking at this sector. I said a few months ago I think it was, I took some off the table here due to another missed deadline, and the likes of CHF, PALM, ECR and PUR have done me very well with that money in that time. Personally I remain invested but I'm nowhere near as committed as I once was as it feels like the momentum/opportunity has gone here when it comes to blue sky and realistically it is now just another long play again. Just my opinion. | kirbs4
06/1/2021 13:23 | Sorry I meant to say only selling not finally | ![]() charles clore |
