Isn't it a tad unusual for them to provide a RNS on a Monday? Historically, most appear to announce between Tuesday- Thursday. Probably just wishful thinking but could they be leaving themselves some room for another this week? I certainly wouldn't want to be out if that is so!

A reminder to the impatient. 23/11/2019 AAU opened at 2.1p. Is it still undervalued?...Yes.
Would I rather have my biggest holding in an undervalued company with huge potential or one correctly priced and plodding along? I think I know the answer.

My understanding was the final meeting three weeks ago was to iron out everything then just down to paperwork. Beryl confirmed to lottsgold last week everything progressing so genuinely expecting something by end this week early next but just my expectation.

Konil - the delay in the JV means that we keep 50% of profits as opposed to only 23% after the JV. That seems pretty fair to me.

As usual brilliant results from AAU, onwards and upwards from now.

Can any of you with experience enlighten me as to the reason for the number of small uncrossing trades that are now appearing on each day? It used to be one large amount at the end of the day previously.

JAF - agree with you on the muted response to this morning's news. 8% is derisory for such an excellent update l. I would have expected the price to be firmly back in the 6-7p range by now..

is there much of a xmas slowdown in turkey (no pun intended)? if so, then unless we hear soon it may run into that period and no jv news until 2021. hope that is not the case. current trading range has been most frustrating for those of us not sitting on large profits but close to the mark at current levels.

AAU is currently a growth stock at the watershed of becoming an income stock. As with all growth stocks they need to produce the foundation to become an income producing stock and rnss such as this one add to that foundation. AAU has one of the most solid foundations in the junior mining environment and shareholder will benefit from that in the not too distant future. This could be and exceptional run up to Xmas for AAU and its shareholders and reward for patience which has had to be required. Well done AAU but also well done those shareholders who have stayed the course and those who are deciding to join the party before it's too late!!

Superb though the RNS is, and well done to the company for achieving those results at a very difficult time, it does not currently benefit the shareholders. Ariana pays no dividend (the proposed JV dividend will be a one-off) and the market seems to be immune to any good news from the company so there is virtually no increase in the share price.

Hopefully the signing of the JV will be the catalyst we need - nothing else seems to have much effect.

The bid offer range is currently 5.2-5.5, yet someone buying 454k earlier paid 5.6682 (circa £25K), when the range was the same.
