23/10/2020 19:45 | Oh does it!!!!! | ![]() bigglesbingham
23/10/2020 19:30 | I did a dummy sell for 500k after lunch and was bid 5.85p, which suggests to me that my theory is correct, my sale (if I had pressed the button) would have filled the 5M buy at 5.90p. If the MMs had had 8M shares in their hands, I would never have got a quote to sell a sausage never mind 500k. Quite possibly an insti biggles yes. Ariana is now above the £50M minimum cap for a lot of instis. That could explain the bargain price they got - the City looks after its own. NAI etc | ![]() cyberbub
23/10/2020 19:22 | Least on Monday it will bounce back. | ![]() bigglesbingham

23/10/2020 18:59 | Yes the company is probably still profitable at $900 (although the share price wouldn't be 6p :-o ) | ![]() cyberbub
23/10/2020 18:56 | jaf948 It was Kerim Sener a while back said anything over $1,200 was cream. The production costs per ounce is circa $650 ish I believe which is profitable in itself, he was just commenting on how rewarding things are to the company with pog so high. | ![]() 1candc
23/10/2020 18:43 | Actonovator, I don't think you're right. All four large late trades have an actual trading-hours timestamp on them. A typical UT trade has an after-hours timestamp on it. These four late trades are all ordinary 'O' type trades, delayed due to size. Whether they've been 'worked' over a couple of days or not is irrelevant, given the stability of the share price this week centred on 6p - my points in post 638 still hold the same IMO. NAI etc | ![]() cyberbub
23/10/2020 18:39 | Well normally if the price decreases then the large after-hours trade is probably a sell. However there is no way you could sell 5m at 5.90 on the basis of today's trades alone so its something thats been brokered over a few days or a week and therefore could be either buy or sell. Biggles comment yesterday morning when he said the price was holding up really well (considering all the sells at 6p) adds to my view this has been going on for a few days. I guess some of the other trades are easier to decipher : 359k and 1.3m at 6.10 are probably buys 3.9m at 5.75 and 0.5m at 5.61 are probably sells. All points to a very interesting next week! | ![]() actonovator
23/10/2020 18:32 | Can they have been working those sells for a while? Someone's clearly had enough. | ![]() lottsgold
23/10/2020 17:56 | 0.5% fairly hefty. | ![]() ekuuleus
23/10/2020 17:55 | Jaf at the ti.e that 5m shares was transacted it was at the offer price so a sell. Advfn dont care, the buy sell indicator is a gimmick. Quite clearly, it was a sell. | ![]() ekuuleus
23/10/2020 17:39 | Disappointing drop in price which I feel has been in the pipeline for a week or two. Lets hope this marks the end of the selling and buying starts in ernest next week! | ![]() charles clore
23/10/2020 17:36 | Yes, they said they were profitable at anything around $1200 Gold or even In the $1100’s. | ![]() crossfirecssf
23/10/2020 17:26 | A sale of 3,908,868 is now showing at 10:39:01 this morning. That could explain some of what happened. However, there are also a 5,000,000 transaction at 9:17:42 which is showing as a buy and a 1,327,672 buy at 9:26:31. | ![]() jaf1948
23/10/2020 17:12 | Made a real mess of that pennent. | ![]() thanksamillion
23/10/2020 17:02 | Biggles, May be my mistake ? I thought I read on here that any gold price over £1200 /oz was profit straight to the bottom line. Please correct me if I'm wrong. | ![]() jaf1948
23/10/2020 16:58 | Where do you get $1200 from | ![]() bigglesbingham
23/10/2020 16:56 | I did buy some more today despite my promises to she-who-must-be-obey | ![]() jaf1948
23/10/2020 16:45 | Another drawn out period waiting for news that is already overdue, in the current climate you can't blame anyone for selling, not all investors are long termers and it isn't hard to have concerns over a company who is 9 months late with a jv announcement and is still taking it to the wire. There are plenty of us who trust them enough for that to be a minor issue in a long term plan, but not everyone will see it that way especially on AIM. All normal imo and if you believe, you have another buying oppo :). | kirbs4
23/10/2020 16:29 | I have never understood in my 50 years of investing in the Stock Market how a share can be worth 6.2p on tuesday and 5.8p on friday where there has been no news in between these times (the price of gold has only fluctuated by a few dollars and anyway anything over $1200 is profit). | ![]() jaf1948
23/10/2020 16:12 | These sells seem small in volume but mms jump on them to scare investors | ![]() bigglesbingham
23/10/2020 16:11 | If the only prize was JV but some much going on in own right. | ![]() bigglesbingham
23/10/2020 16:08 | Could anyone blame them bigglesbingham. It certainly has been a test of faith. But got to keep your eye on the prize. | ![]() soulsauce |
