If you give resource figures, people look at the resource figures. They're nothing special. With the big JV story waiting to be finished it would take something special to get investors to focus on anything else IMO.

First resource declaration in Cyprus for over ten years! You have Chf increasing 20% on declaration of drilling! Oh we declared that too.

The maximum Bed &ISA can be is £20,000?

Could some of those big trades be bed and isa at same price or something similar, I would have expected a bigger price action if they were straight forward sells.

What was all that about? I can see that today's RNS is nothing to get very excited about, the stated JORC resource is pretty small beer, but it's hardly the main story here. No idea why it should trigger selling.

Someone's certainly re balancing! Hopefully we can hold out at this level. The base here is going to be solid!

cssf, no explanations needed, fully on board with your strategy. having been here only a short while myself, i need to hang on for a while to see some serious gains, after which i could perhaps take a small % out and nibble at the 'rockets'.

as for aau, it looks like a long term winner, and on balance the risk profile here suits me, so i intend to hold a big chunk for the forseeable future.

i agree with targeting firepower and 5 to 6 seems plenty. would be interested to know your other 'rockets' when you have identified them, if you wish to share.

Well done Rennick - I think you kickstarted the buying - Ariana often strong on RNS afternoons - maybe blue finish

Likely to be just general sentiment at the moment given everyone's numbers covid wise make for bleak viewing.

Very frustrating price action on extremely positive news. The sooner we see what we have in Cyprus, the sooner significant value can be added. So happy that we are imminently drilling. This should start to demonstrate the real value we have here

hmmm selling has been relentless today - if you wanted to sell into strength then yesterday afternoon was far better - more likely to be a large holder reducing or a share pundit recommendation

biggles - the only good thing you could say about today is it offers those of us who can see value an opportunity to top up at a crazily cheap price while others dump for reasons I find quite bizarre.

The size of the sells is somewhat bizarre , guess some are crystallising profit to invest elsewhere and no real problem. The frustration people feel is that the news warrants significant uplift from here. But for long term holders with a view to investing for a time yet the frustration should not outweigh the information contained within the rns which is excellent

Cssf - would you mind saying how many you sold today? I'm just trying to get a handle on all those sells and I'm sure they are not all yours.

In the absence of any reply I assume the majority of today's sells are probably yours then!

I think you might be right bigglesbingham, JV fatigue has to be a factor.
