06/5/2015 13:28 | Worth a read (sorry if it's already been posted) re JPM: Opinions differ on if this is good news or bad news. (Good news = JPM is betting on an increase in the price of Silver. Bad News = JPM can now use their Silver hoard to further throttle the price of Silver. Other theories = JPM is preparing to close a large Silver short etc. etc. etc.) Anyway, apparently they've now got over over 55 million ounces of physical Silver in their COMEX vault. | grbaker
05/5/2015 10:58 | Was in this in the early days, lost a bit, but now started buying again as production cranks up. | diesel
05/5/2015 10:20 | Juju - indeed. But in the meantime, there are exciting strides in the tech world. DYOR. | squirrel888
05/5/2015 09:27 | Not really exciting until the criminals at JPM decide to reverse their shorts on silver | juju44
05/5/2015 09:15 | WS - I'm in at a decent level after averaging down. I'm also in the "Internet of Things" - the two go hand in hand - silver & supercapacitators. In fact both have huge, massive uses & are mainstream so we're talking trillions of devices/uses. Big names in the market already involved. We are going to need ALOT of silver too. Remind me how much silver we OWN here at AGQ.... Exciting. | squirrel888
03/5/2015 20:56 | BIK, thanks for the last article, and the chart you posted/annotated on 1/5/2015. As luck (or good judgement?) had it, I bought in small tranches as the price dropped, then really grabbed a few at 28/28.25p So much so that most of mine were bought below the 29p threshold. If, funds permit, I may sacrifice a few other holdings to add here as things permit. Squirrel, hope you managed to grab a few at these low prices. Small/Micro cap miners seem to be taking off... JLP, AGQ, MWA all experiencing a sudden interest from buyers. And one I only learned about a couple of weeks ago, BMN - been through the mill, but recently seems to have turned the corner. 02/5/2015 22:08 | Arian Silver Corporation - Achieves First Concentrate Production at San José PR Newswire London, March 27 ------ That's over a month now since we had this RNS. It does mention how much silver was produced. Even this RNS was 4 months behind schedule. So, we are now looking at a near 6 month behind plan. A serious and believable update is required. | irnbru2
02/5/2015 13:04 | Part of a recent report which I think may be of interest: Emerging Mexican Silver By: Scott Wright | Fri, May 1, 2015 Mexico has long been a silver juggernaut. The indigenous peoples had been successfully mining this shiny-white metal since well before the Spanish colonials swarmed the shores in the 16th century. Several hundred years of Spanish development globalized Mexico's silver prowess. And still today in the post-independence era silver mining is still going strong. It is believed that Mexico is responsible for a whopping one-third of all silver ever mined in the history of the world. But despite such an extensive mining history, there's still plenty remaining in the ground. With the miners of yore literally only scratching the surface via the exploitation of this country's abundant high-grade outcroppings, there's ample silver treasures at depth for the modern miners willing to dig deeper. Though the low-hanging fruit is gone, Mexico's massive precious-metals belts have been found to hold ample silver resources directly below the historically-mined deposits. The miners are also using a better understanding of geology and technological advances to find silver in areas that didn't have outcroppings, in virgin ground. This modern success has yielded a plethora of major discoveries. And the development of these discoveries has kept Mexico atop the silver industry. In 2014 it produced an estimated 151m ounces of silver, a tally that's 15m+ ounces greater than the world's next largest producer. Incredibly Mexico is currently responsible for about 18% of global mined production. So if you're a silver-focused mining company, there's really no better place to explore than Mexico. And why not improve your odds by focusing on this country's premier silver district, Zacatecas' Fresnillo district. The Fresnillo Silver district is located in the heart of a major geological structure that's so far yielded 4b+ ounces of silver to date. It's estimated that Fresnillo alone is responsible for in the neighborhood of 10% of the world's historical production. And today it holds two of the world's top-four largest primary silver mines. | bikwik
01/5/2015 21:48 | Bikwik - cheers. As ever I am in AGQ for the triple digit valuation. Enjoy CPX. Trading it is an awesome ride. I much prefer the company of bulls. Bears are so very bearing! And I simply do not short as it involves margins which I don't do. | squirrel888
01/5/2015 17:42 | Squirrel, I agree that CPX is where the action currently is. Chart analysis aside its definitely caught the imagination of investors and that's certainly going to make it a roller coaster ride. As far as the upside is concerned, well realistically that's anybody's guess. By the way I don't see that there is a gap on the chart up to 8.5p as it definitely traded below there on the way down in 2013. However, who I am to pour cold water on a roaring fire! Maybe i'll buy some on a pullback (if it gets one) and run them for the ride. If you are in near the bottom then maybe tip some out on the way up, but keep a core holding (though of course you may have that in mind anyway). Good luck. PS, I'm sticking with AGQ as with this one i'm in at the bottom and its grossly undervalued and I like the chart....well you know that already. | bikwik
01/5/2015 16:40 | Bikwik - ty. It's all happening on CPX which will be used alongside silver in trillions of devices. It's starting to feel like AGQ did when we quite quickly went from a few pennies to the heady heights of 50p. But it's so much bigger. Apologies for O/T but when it has sky rocketed please don't say I did not share. Fellow silver Bulls - it's worth researching. DYOR. | squirrel888
01/5/2015 15:25 | If we can break over 33.5p on daily volume over at least 350,000 shares, surpassing that seen on 23rd April spike to 33.5p, then the rise should continue. | bikwik
01/5/2015 15:18 | As you can see the level at which AW sold back in January appears to be holding back upside scope through that point so far. However, Jim Williams recent share purchase was in a buying 'sweet spot' as can be seen from the chart. This sweet spot is when the quote gets to 28.00-29.00 and 27.00-28.00. We are very close to the first one. Maybe we don't go down to the bottom one, though an intraday spike down to that level is possible. Of course a lower tail on the daily candlestick would be bullish and likely mark the bottom of the right shoulder that now appears to be developing. So, if it does see that spike, its not an opportunity to sell but an opportunity to buy. It would be nice if some of the other company insiders apart from Jim bought shares, but maybe they are currently constrained because of an impending RNS. Not sure about the forthcoming AGM as that is not likely to give out any price sensitive info as such. Any one else any thoughts about that? | bikwik

30/4/2015 20:04 | Stop taking pish, and buy some decent shares. HGM, will out perform, well ahead of this rubbish, when PMs turn. | irnbru2
30/4/2015 18:35 | This chart is of course very similar to the Canadian one, though not quite as volatile. Hard to believe sometimes when it is spiking up and down intraday. However, there appears to be a clear inverted Head & Shoulders base in the latter stage of development. Here the price is nearer to the downtrend than the Canadian version, and as the right shoulder is in the process of forming. Assuming the first resistance at 31p (closing level don't forget) is overcome after say the end of the first week in May then the downtrend will yield as well. The Canadian chart needs to see C$0.60 (the 2nd resistance) give way to clear the downtrend. Here also the price failed to maintain the break under the blue line range lows and here the target is the upper blue line at 39p. By then the medium term trend, at least, will have clearly shifted to the upside and that hallowed phrase "Blue Sky" will begin to be appropriate. Meantime we've all got to be patient and wait for the initial bull moves to unfold. Looking forward to the AGM on the 13th May. | bikwik

30/4/2015 18:19 | As you can see we are still below the downtrend from the early 2014 high. However, note the choppy sideways action since the low in March which fails to maintain breaks under the blue line range lows. That gives the price scope to return to the higher side of the range highs, i.e the upper blue line at C$0.74. Of course it needs to clear resistance at 0.55 and then 0.60. Clearing the latter will also break the downtrend and signal the move towards 0.74. Beyond that of course, we know that the sky's the limit....however, lets not count our chickens yet. NOTE that this chart is based on daily closes as is the next chart. | bikwik
