no one in government or central banks likes bitcoin they hate having no control, they also hate gold as people can store money there as well but they frig the markets there to keep a lid on it cant do that with bitcoin. They have tried for years to regulate it problem is its now mainstream and even more difficult to regulate so Yellen saying she dislikes it is a buy signal for anyone who thinks money printing will bring inflation and the destruction of fiat which I know you are one of. Buy bitcoin join the darkside gold is too heavily manipulated by vested interests to be fully safe in a high inflation environment. Besides try buying groceries with a gold bar, its hard enough with cash just now lol

Thank you Nico - added my last tranche of BTC at around this level, so happy to be patient, and enough invested in ARB (much more than in BTC) that if this turned out to be the BTC bottom, would not be unhappy at all. But also happy to keep some powder dry.

Blah blah blah. I have used some of my realised profits in ARB to buy another 5,000 share tranche at 80p. Not leveraged, so don't really care if I have picked the bottom. I invest with a time-frame beyond my afternoon tea.
GLA - Nico - let's hope your $34k holds for my purchase, but $27k and I get to buy some more BTC, so who really cares (as long as BTC still going to be higher later in the year!).

aiden.
BTC trades 24hrs a day. The price at 1630hrs GMT is irrelevant.

Om balance its quite amusing I suppose to see them all reappearing. None of them have anything of consequence to say though.

Its not unusual, of course, for all the naysayers to appear once a stock price falls, but PWhite73 you take the biscuit.

How can you declare that Biden "printing" $1.9trn (it's 1.9 not 1.4 by the way) will "strengthen the dollar" is beyond me.

Your understanding of fiat currencies is obviously zero. The more $$$$'s floating around actually weakens its value, and who has actually said that BTC is a hedge against a weak dollar anyway?

It will eventually become a currency in its own right, that's why some central banks, numerous large institutions and uber-wealthy individuals have seen the light and are buying it to tuck away.

Don't be surprised in the fullness of time to hear that the Chinese government are quietly buying BTC and putting it away for the future.

I'm afraid your scare tactics here aren't cutting much ice, but I do respect your opinion and your right to air it.
