So if i make a very small trade between 16:30-16:35(we only ever get one and its a fairly recent phenomenon)either above or below the 16:30 closing price i can manipulate the opening price for the next day.Wow this absolutely front page news!!!!!!!

OBC

That's right a bit of a shell.
But doesn't mean the price shouldn't be rising currently.
Don't prior to the dot com crash hundreds of companies were trading on tesla ratios with no profit whatsoever.
Now a lot of those companies are making profit...but have low earning multiples.
The stock market isn't driven by company profits or shell content.

You see how it works now.We are actually 1% down on the closing price at 16:30 but because of the 16:30-16-35 trade we are 9% down based on that trade price. It can work both ways but give a totally wrong price indication and may be costing investors a fortune but allowing others to buy in on a false price.Major scandal

Criminal in my view. Surprised someone like Tyke falls for it. Maybe his stubbornness for TA prevents him from even reading the company accounts?

Agreed, OBC looks like the kind of shell that cost a lot of people a lot of money in the tech crash.

Always use all the available info and never filter anyone. After a while you learn how to build a picture of how the UK spiders web of tax evasion and stock market manipulation works. The closer you get to the truth the more you are attacked.I for one am not pre science as i live in the future

It's been a while since I posted here, but have been reading all your posts with interests. Finally had to comment after you have the cheek to ramp OBC here this morning.Your constant patronising of other experienced posters is simply showing your arrogance.Your repeated statements "that's the way it works" and "no exceptions" make you two things, 1. The worst type of teacher and 2. A Multi Squillionaire as you could never have been wrong because you know how the market works, no exceptions.

Its actually very worrying for humanity the number of people who cherry pick facts to fit a belief.

And those who use something thats a fact or study and then extend that as evidence for something else.

Are we going back to pre-science ?
