The share price is not dictated by new or old shareholders buying at any price. Say, hypothetically...the bitcoin price went to $10Will the share price remain over 80p because some investors (high profile ornotherwise) bought it at that price? No ofcourse not. The share price is underpinned by a cryptocurrency and just like you, those investors have taken a gamble at ARB doing well off the back of the underlying crypto doing well.Am not here to put you or anyone else down. I was invested here at 5p and 6p. I still hold a free float and sold a majority at 95p and 99p thinking 100p would cap it, it didn't, no one gets it right all the time and it flew over 100p like it was nothing. I've bought and sold a few since but nothing special.I've noted the rise in selling over on etoro and although I don't short...it seems there are many who want to profit on the way down which has made me question the upside here now.

But duxy you're a muppet who thinks BTC is going to drop to one sixth of its recent high so everyone rightly ignored you.BTC is doing exactly what BTC does. It will complete this leg down then head higher. You'll be left behind and you don't understand that.As as I have said before those that believe arb will be less volatile than BTC are deluded. Arb has positive gearing which is great when BTC is rising, no so much when it's falling. In a week or two we'll have a trading update showing arb making piles of cash and in a month or two share price will be over 200p

Have you noticed how people herd and change their tune with every little drop or rise in price. It's these human emotions that drive the patterns. They cycle within predictable limits.
BUT.....it doesn't mean that any individual can tell you what the price is going to be.
There are NO crystal balls aside from aidens and nicos.
TA is a valuable tool that works. The other variables you mention are noise.

Its at $34400.And ARB's revenues do not reflect that. This is being lined up for RTO/SPAC.will we get any TR-1's or was the placing a scam?

Did say a couple of days ago.....very likely this will end up in the 40's as bitcoin loses its value to more sustainable levels...Last time it went from 18000 to 3000, thats one 6th of the price. If a similar fate happens here that back down to around 7000 USD.Not a fan of doom and gloom but thats scary .... unless of course you join the shorter and bank in on the fall.

On the subject of T/A it works for the people who use it that's all. If it worked generally it could not be used as a tool for investment or everybody would use it therefore nullifying its objective effect. The markets work on asymmetry. Some people have more knowledge than others. If we all knew the where the price was heading through T/A you would have no market.

The reality is that there are just too many variables for any one particular or even a group of tools to be able to predict which way prices are going. One thing we are all certain of is that if you have lots of money and political power you can move prices and markets in your direction to a certain degree but even that is not full proof.

You have markets and they work because of the inability to control and predict.

Wasn't it the knowledgeable posters on here that said the placing put a floor under the share price ?? Lol

I'm done with this thread, its pointless.

The last lot of any sort of financial comments about ARB was probably a day ago.
Ridiculous.

Last thing I heard was ARB were running a business.

There's a bee buzzing in your arrogant little head that has made you assume something from what I said, other than what I said.

That's your problem.

You're probably doing that with your Elliot waves and yet completely unaware of it.

If TA was a perfect science we would all be on a beach in Mauritius Don't forget SNF said 27k btc and never for there and he also said 115p would be the low and we are now 83pNow I get as much wrong as SNF but let's all stay humble The moment any one thinks we are invincible like SNF does is the moment we all lose a fortune Stay humble and stay respectful and be NICE

The fact OBV has fallen 50% is partly why I thought it worth buying.
Yump:
No you're back to front again.
Looking at bb posts is a technique that many chartists actually use to understand current investor sentiment to a stock. When all posters are bullish it means they've likely taken a position already and so the stock is likely to fall. Think contrarian. When everyone who wants to has bought..who's left to buy ?
Conversely, because charts map the evolving pattern of human mass impulses...they have the predictive capability.
Hope that helps...

There are always bubbles alm6 because people are inherently greedy and stupid. Sentiment not fundamentals drives the market. If that weren't the case why is the us market hitting new highs during a global pandemic and impending depression?
