GBTC Bitcoin Tracker
@GbtcT
.
@Grayscale
added a whopping ~16,244 #Bitcoin yesterday, which equals 18.05X of daily bitcoin mined

In total the trust holds 632801.4331 BTC. Yesterday also marked the day their holdings surpassed 3% of 21M

If the trend from Q420 persist, this is inflow is ~93% institutional.

-> LARGEST DAILY INCREASE SINCE BEGAN TRACKING LAST JUNE (probably ever).

I have bought a few for my SIPP at 93p. Don't care about short-term moves for my SIPP, so tucked away.

No nico,

What we are saying is EXACTLY what is happening.
The cryptos are consolidating within a bullish uptrend.
We are trying to assess when the consolidation is likely to be over.
You...meanwhile...are talking gibberish. Which is what I've been told to expect !

Nico,

Limited supply or increased demand doesn't necessarily result in increased price. You are talking about asset prices which are counter-intuitive.
We know with stocks that demand is at it's highest right at the top...just before a crash.
It's at it's lowest...just before a price rise.
You need to think the other way round with markets. It's not real life..and it's not economics !

But you are saying we are either going upOr down !!And you and SNF get bearish when btc falls and bullish when it rises Do the opposite ..when it falls buy and when it rallies sell a percentage But on red and sell on blue..much more profitable I've heard countless times from you all that btc will hit 27k ..ain't happening for many weeks

37k bitcoin !!Every time we fall the technical analysis group say we will fall further It ain't gonna happen Throw those useless charts away Yes I don't believe there will be a TR1 as I think the placing went to flippers Wainwright were involved in motif placing and same thing happens there ..huge indigestion Here we are lucky volumes have been decent so by end of week the placees will be gone and onto the next bought deal

Alm,

Everything in the market is speculation. At least I'm looking at the correct metrics.
Bitcoin and ARB are both consolidating...fact.
By far the two most common consolidation patterns are the zig-zag and the double zig-zag. Double zig-zags are very common with stocks that have risen aharply ( as SNF would confirm). So it's likely one or the orher. If it's the former, arbs going up...if it's the latter, it's got further to drop. If it's got further to drop we can easily eatimate where the bottom might be shortly using elliott.
What's wrong with that.
Certainly beats any nonesense fundamentals that don't even affect cryptos !

I'm going to stick to the leader I've found once a certain mkt cap is achieved it's always best to stick to the best .bitcoin is the best I'm extremely bullish Btc for 2 main reasons Limited supply ..so increased demand =Increased price And a depriciating currency is v bullish for all commodities and risk assets ..gold also needs lower yields Hope this helps you SNFCANT believe you think ydays volume didn't include placees selling !! Unbelievable

Re Tether, I also did a lot of reading about it - at end of day, got comfortable for a few reasons, including that collateral (even if partly in BTC / loans to buy BTC) will be worth more than Tether, partly because I understand the Chinese use case (buying BTC directly for fiat a no no), and partly because if I compare the m. cap of Tether and BTC, does not seem so significant (not saying Tether did not help to boost BTC post Covid dump, just as Fed helped to boost stocks).

With respect 2tyke, your position is starting to degenerate into speculation. You obviously want in at a good price as do we all, but that

It may well be the case that as bitcoin completes an ABC lower......ARB, which is more volatile, completes a double zig-zag lower.

Gone in large again.

Interesting Goldman's tweet that Argo put out.

Also expecting large US buying on open at 2.30 so taking a position.

Obviously what matters most in BTC price.

The tether FUD is now beginning to fade - my own research shows the FUD level is high with that one.

I think once that is put to bed we will see BTC at all time highs again and once we get the inaugurartion out of the way
