I'm not a big believer that gaps have to be filled, well not unless I'm on the Sid James thread.Breakaway gaps often occur in parabolic moves and are NEVER filled. Look at the famous CME gap on BTC as a good example. I think the real trick with TA, partic with equities, is to know when it's a useful tool to aid entry and exit and when to ignore obvious false positives.A lot of TA buyers missed out on the huge rally here trying to pinch the odd penny when it was around 10/12p - given the upside on offer here I'm not going to try to be too cute for picking the bottom - we all know the saying on that one :)

I am not sure we will see any dip. I will be looking to top up at sub 90 if possible but I fear it will not last long.

This was a very good placement to get off and at a good price given the run up.

I can see this doubling pretty quick - how they got the miners so quick is amazing - good contacts, good management

News, particularly unexpected news like today's makes TA very fallible. Add to that the fact markets always look forward in the direction the news points - accelerated mining by 60% within the next 2 quarters and a leapfrogging of the competition, make the TA debate on here tonight surreal.

Agreed but if we get 30m trades tmrw and 10m after 430 in states that will nearly clear out the sellers Must say all this TA is hopeless The same guys who believe in 60p are butimf today at 92pThat's why posters don't like me challenging SNF as they just want to hear his crazy 36 quid target and that's 12 bn mkt cap Seriously the world has gone mad !! Lol

No its not just 28 million it also includes investors who were holding but will no longer hold until the shares hit the placing price of 80p. Placings have a double ripple effect, the placing shares and the people the placing frightens off.

What's good for the company doesn't tend to help the share price when it's consolidating.

Lol...yes my eyes are shocking.
The 60p gap was closed.on the daily....but it's defo there.on the 4 hr.
Could be one to watch.

The more I think about todays price action the more convinced I am that MMs have been accumulating shares to offload onto the OTC tomorrow afternoon. They are taking shares off mug punters under 100p and will sell them on at 110p - 120p on the OTC. The is no way the Americans will see this placing as a negative. It puts ARB in the lead in the hash race with competitors. Most BTC experts will know that peak pricing is expected in Q3 - Q4 2021 in this cycle and now ARB will have its high hash rate ready for those prices.

Just looking at it, I don't think the daily candle closed it.
The 80p gap was closed ok...but not the 60p gap.

Gaps aren't always filled nico....but most are.
I'm an elliottician so not over superstitious on gaps.
