Hi nugget,The key levels are as I listed previously. Yes, very much a consolidation. If bulls can break above the overhead downtrend, currently around 38.5 then the picture improves. If not, we're looking at the support levels below where we currently are, which I have at 32.25k and 27k. These are trendline supports. A further support is the rising 21 day EMA which has been hugely significant for BTC. If you look back at the 2017 bull run, price tested the 21 ema numerous times, and on each occasion it proved to be a fantastic entry level. However, I feel this is largely irrelevant. I would love a 27k entry but 27/32.25/35/40 will be irrelevant with the much higher levels to come.

Does ‘time-consuming’ mean a week ?

Fourth wave consolidations are nearly always time-consuming.
Everything about the current btc consolidation currently indicates it has much lower to fall yet.

Suggest checking out Blonity as snf calls out, check his youtube and has his own Patreon, according to his current view the Canadian miners are better value at present, arb was by far the cheapest until the recent spike...

I see we keep bouncing off $35,500.

Would you call that positive SNF? Looks like a fairly long consolidation between $33,500 and $36,500 to me, but my knowledge is very limited I must admit.

o/t but this has got a bit boring.
Someone sent me this earlier, if folks are interested, its a great read imo.

"It takes a tremendous amount of work to educate citizens to resist the powerful pull of believing what they already believe, or what others around them believe, or what would make sense of their own previous choices."

Hmm, perhaps some relevance here.

The basis of good charting is to come from this basic premise:
Everything is uncertain and nobody knows the future.
From this basis, we can glean percentage probabilities about a market. It's very similar to weather forecasting and can be just as accurate.
Anyone who tells you that they know what 'will' happen is either a liar...or a very poor chartist.
So yes...WTFDYK

SNF

That's right I do....and the chart patterns are currently telling me that btc is far more likely to fall than to rise.
I do use the word 'likely' however.

SNF,

Hive - as eth move to staking over mining, will that have a future?

We've mostly done that, or nicked blonitys work on the subject :)ARB still the big value amongst the miners imo. Hive a good bet if you're at eth fan like me, but I wouldn't buy at the current valuation.
