18/1/2021 11:09 | A little look at PWhite's posting record shows he comes across as a rather arrogant know-it-all, with no or little knowledge of the subject matter. The vitriol hurled at him by some posters on other threads is quite astonishing. Maybe you have nothing better to do Mr White or are you just simply deluded? Filtered. | ![]() crypto nugget
18/1/2021 11:09 | QS99 - I'm not really a stocks person. I'm a forex and indices guy but I have a bought a few junior silver miners as I'm very bullish on silver. My big bets are currently crypto up, Indices down. Although as a technical trader I'll be waiting for a major breakdown of the indices before going in heavily. I'm starting to see some divergences and the Russel small caps should lead us down but it's just a matter of patience while this final euphoric end to the bull market concludes. | ![]() suffersnofools
18/1/2021 11:04 | Sht, just seen that this is a double top and going to 10p - thanks for the valuable insight Topaz (I have filtered, but lucky it got shared). How big to make my short??? (for newer BB readers, please note, do the opposite of what Topaz says and will do just fine) | ![]() mnomis
18/1/2021 11:03 | We are currently in a de-flationary monetary cycle. But economics doesn't figure with asset prices. If groceries get cheaper we buy more. If petrol gets cheaper we fill the car up. Stocks don't follow economics. They are the only thing we buy more of as the price rises...and sell when the price falls. Can't be explained logically. Stock movement is irrational. That's because human emotions are in play....not economics. | ![]() 2tyke
18/1/2021 10:58 | Think I may have asked this SNF, but what else are you invested in mate? I bought into the $ weakness last year and see it continuing and bought last year ATYM/CAML for copper appreciation, have been in gold miners for a while....and CAPD which if you look at thread a broker has said is "bewilderingly undervalued"....DYOR Also went large on AMIGO a binary bet, but I sense that the new management will get lending started again and the effect on the depressed share price could be multi-bagging potential IMO..... Also have topped up sup £1 on VLG....making lots of hay IMO and great management....awaiti cheers SNF, look forward to your views QS99 | ![]() qs99
18/1/2021 10:54 | well said SNF will be interesting to see names of instis on board....patience required. I can't put more into ARB, too overweight as it is (and ARB haha) | ![]() qs99
18/1/2021 10:52 | If you look at other miner announcements recently HC Wainwright seem to have the majority of the placement activity sewn up, look to be the go to operation for this type of activity | ![]() mciw
18/1/2021 10:52 | Add a US PR consultancy to a placing and what do you get ?... | ![]() yump
18/1/2021 10:51 | PWhite73 you said 'The value of BTC as a currency lies in the value others place on it. BTC cannot have any true, intrinsic or lasting value as a currency unless it is actually owned by the government.' What about gold then? Its satisfies the criteria above yet it does very well when currencies are devalued. When that happens people resort to gold as a way of trading what do you think will happen when the US et all totally devalue their currency and inflation is rampant? People will need a place that is safe and does not devalue and is outside of government control. I am trying hard to understand what you say but it is totally at odds will all economic theory or what has happened in the past with gold as the safe haven as in post WW2 Germany. Going forward buying groceries in a high inflation environment with gold is not practically easy however with Bitcoin it is simple so I suggest the way forward is bitcoin unless you believe money printing does not cause inflation in which case I understand your posts and will filter you as you have not studied anything from the past. | ![]() pogue
18/1/2021 10:48 | It looks to me like the chart here is going to form a nice bull flag over the coming sessions. Once BTC breaks through $40k again then this will move quick IMO. | ![]() brasso3
18/1/2021 10:47 | As this was done with a US outfit I assume the U.K. instis weren't interested I always work on the fact that 50pct sell out quite quickly from placings and then work out how long the indigestion lasts May only be a day with the volumes of late 20m today and 20m in states tomorrow may clear out the flippers I'm more bullish today than I was Friday after this deal | ![]() nico115
18/1/2021 10:47 | It's not in the least bit strange brasso....it's what should be happening. The only reason you don't understand it is that you've got some ridiculous notion of future value in your head that just doesn't figure in the markets. Traders buy and sell to make profit. They control the price in a consistent and predictable way. If someone holds millions of btc and sit on them...they have no say in the price whatsoever. | ![]() 2tyke
18/1/2021 10:44 | Come on Brasso That's what throws up oppsPeople have fomo ans love to buy on blue and sell on red You know that !! | ![]() nico115
18/1/2021 10:40 | Strange how people were keen to buy last week at 100p - 120p but would not be buyers today at 90p - 100p. ARB is a much better investment today than last week! | ![]() brasso3
18/1/2021 10:39 | I cannot understand why you think institutions taking part in this private placement are looking to flip? Makes no sense! Re TR1, need to disclose if 3% - issuing 8.5% shares, if 3 or more institutions, below TR1? | ![]() mnomis
18/1/2021 10:37 | ARB are a gimme for Nasdaq listing.Writing is on the wall. | ![]() aidenabettin
18/1/2021 10:36 | None of these things matter ti the price of btc...or arb. They were consolidating lower before the placing and they are still consolidating. They were consolidating before the talked about US stimulus, and guess what, they are still consolidating. They were consolidating before talk of increasing the covid vaccination rate, and guess what...? P/e ratios are a man-made tool that mean precisely nothing to a stock price. They move in defined waves...they don't listen to human notions of so called 'value'. Price...is all there is. | ![]() 2tyke

18/1/2021 10:31 | Thanks Yump I have a serious amount of money(as a pctge of my funds) in btc at 13k and am v bullish although not sure it's safer than having cash but who am I to argue with Saylor But to be honest I'm too overweight here and as I bought in at 10p and 30p I'm nervous of not having sold any arb yet | ![]() nico115
