29/5/2020 13:45 | Idiot441, My point is that does not seem aggressive enough. In two years time the newest machines on the market will likely run 60% faster than their current fastest, making them redundant. Then they will have to write them all off. | horneblower
29/5/2020 10:05 | Perhaps but that's bot the same thing as all the rampers are screaming and doesn't take into account the BOD prop trading cashflow positive returns for losses.I wonder if any of these insidious rampers even know who the nominated broker is here? They certainly don't understand what a reported profit is. | plat hunter
29/5/2020 09:26 | Until the 2020 interims! | gspanner
29/5/2020 09:19 | Parsons.. The only place to look for reported profits or losses, is in the actual reported accounts.ARB have never reported a profit. | plat hunter
29/5/2020 08:44 | Well morning all - took a position here this am 500k shares for me and 60k for the kids. Been watching that downtrend and think it’s gonna break up with the rest of the markets breaking sharply downwards... Have always been a crypto sceptic, but I think this will attract multiples of bitcoins rise like a gold miner during a gold bull market. Interim results should be stellar and show a clear profit and no dramas paying off that loan, cash cow for a year or two... | gspanner
29/5/2020 08:38 | Quite correct Hootza616, so which accounts were you looking at Plat Hunter ? | parsons4
29/5/2020 08:35 | Horne they write off the machines over 3 years even though their useful life is likely to be longer - up to 5 years. The new kit becomes more powerful - typically for similar money. Bitmain charge for machines partly based on demand... so currently good deals are available | idiot441
29/5/2020 08:34 | My understanding is that they have made a profit from their mining activities every month since that announcement. | hootza616
29/5/2020 08:33 | On 17th September 2019 ARB reported maiden profit within their interim results:"Achieved maiden profit of £0.94m (FY 2018: £4.12m loss)" | hootza616
29/5/2020 08:24 | Only the annual results are required to be auditedThe company reports its operating results each month and has made very good profits in 2020. Based on the current BTC price the company will continue to make good profits post halving. | mcfly79
29/5/2020 08:23 | To really get to grips with the net profitability of the company, it is important to take a view on its depreciation policy. Tens of millions have been spent on mining computers in the last two years. What is their current worth and how much would it cost to replace them when they become redundant, ie too slow to run profitably? I don't think we know the answers to these questions but they are crucial to valuing the company. | horneblower
29/5/2020 08:13 | Mcfly... stop misleading people.Arb have not reported a profit, unless of course you got hold of a separate audited and reported financials to the marketWhich set of audited accounts are you referring too? | plat hunter
29/5/2020 07:21 | ARB has been reporting profits in 2020. It has made a mining profit of about £3.5 million in the first 4 months of 2020, plus more to come for May. | mcfly79
28/5/2020 22:10 | Come on you lot, the BTC story is just beginning. Since HALVING the price has been much more steady and to me it looks like it is ready for a real move upwards. Other markets have lost the plot IMHO, we will see !!!!!!! | parsons4
28/5/2020 21:13 | No Dennis... No reported profit here | plat hunter
28/5/2020 21:10 | I am not buying ARB for what it is making this quarter. I am buying it for when BTC makes a move towards and above $20k. | brasso3
28/5/2020 20:46 | Hasn’t it already been reporting profits?? D | dennisbergkamp
28/5/2020 20:37 | Been a very poor performer. Am just in profit here but 4p? Bitcoin is 9500 approx which is good enough. I dont want to sell because nothing else has exposure to BTC but this is poor. I just hope ARB is not one of those companies that never reports a profit because it all seems to go on "admin". | barnetpeter
28/5/2020 19:54 | I also bought more yesterday, even though this is already my biggest investment !!! currently, I just think this is has the biggest potential of all out there right now. | parsons4

28/5/2020 15:31 | We need BTC to crack $10,400 level. Once that happens the fireworks will start. | brasso3
