03/6/2020 17:14 | @ Parsons4 - yes, is disclosed in cost of sales in AFS. Question was whether margin they disclose is same as AFS "Gross Profit", or is a "cash margin", which I feel is more likely to be the case. Note that GP% in AFS was 35% (assuming "margin" was higher than this for the year - I could do calc's later I guess). Another question to clarify unless someone has a firm answer. | mnomis
03/6/2020 16:58 | I was assuming mining margin just took into account the cost of electricity in month | orm5
03/6/2020 16:50 | In the interests of clarity... when they talk of mining margin that does NOT include depreciation | idiot441
03/6/2020 16:44 | Directors buying shares in the market would be great. The problem is that they have share options so they probably don't need to increase their holdings. A first 6 months profit of say £3m would get the shares moving. Yes mnomis depreciation is part of cost of sales | parsons4
03/6/2020 16:36 | Anyone with the ear of the directors, could ask them if they fancy a nibble (not of ear) | royalalbert
03/6/2020 16:33 | Unless there is now an overhang of stock. We did not see any notification of increase in holdings. Maybe another question for the AGM | orm5
03/6/2020 16:24 | Same thoughts here... Only thing that makes sense is a seller... For me, if we could get some director buy action too then I'll go in further too. Once (thrice) bitten (BLU, VELA, KR2) twice shy... D | dennisbergkamp
03/6/2020 16:12 | I441 think there may be many margin calls in the current climate. Bisho no one really knows, but seems to be a seller in my opinion. | royalalbert
03/6/2020 16:05 | I think the seller must be forced e.g. bank or broker to pay margin calls. So hardly caring what price | idiot441
03/6/2020 15:52 | @RoyalAlbert, I thought the seller would be done a couple of weeks ago :) If the seller would only hang on a week or so and this could re-rate and they'd get a lot more for their shares. This share is stupidly priced at the moment. | bisho4
03/6/2020 15:29 | Well our seller can only sell once, if it's our Canadian friend then they had 4.5m to shift. Been good volume recently so could be running on fumes, may even be out this week hopefully. | royalalbert

03/6/2020 14:17 | You in the telegram chat for argo mate? | blackrolie00
03/6/2020 14:00 | Re trading update - should have been priced in. FWIW, my estimates were 249 BTC, revenue of £1,867m and a margin of 36% - so only difference for me was that mining costs were slightly higher than I had guessed (which incl. costs for 1,000 new machines) with margin therefore 34%. A question - is the mining margin stated net of mining depreciation? My assumption is yes (as incl. in COS), in which case, I am at around £2.5m PBT for first 5-months like Parsons4. I would really like to see admin costs coming down this year - were much too high for my liking for a company which lost money in 2019 (but hoping the new board is better aligned). | mnomis
03/6/2020 13:39 | It's those that are behind the manipulation of the shareprice that are the real scum. The British establishment with their medieval laws and tax havens that are totally free from the rule of law that applies to the rest of us.The city of london corporation are corrupt to the core | aidenabettin

03/6/2020 10:05 | 'no one buys 900k in this as its so speculative' LOL aren't you the same person that was talking about being all in crypto? | blackrolie00
03/6/2020 09:57 | nico, calm down, anyway no one buys 900K shares in this as it is too speculative, unless you have cash to burn, good luck, it'll hit 10p by the autumn that's my guess so I hope your average is lowish and you make a profit i only have a few grand invested here with an average of 4.4p so hardly stressful | topazfrenzy
