@Orm5 - yip - very interesting. 1% mining margin in a quarter where ARB's mining margin was much much higher. Could the thesis put forward by some people with common sense (i.e. excl. a few posters above) actually be going to play out i.e. a lot of mining capacity that is inefficient relative to ARB? That coupled with the seller nearly being done (see latest announcement Plat Hunter - as you often seem way behind, PS - Rh / Pd were a much better choice), and this is certainly an interesting time for ARB.

If I was Hut8 - I would be working very diligently on my offer for ARB.

I calculate Chang has disposed of just under 19million shares. He now has just 4.5million left.

Everyone knew the halving was coming for a year. Why does it change anything other than making BTC more scarce? Some miners will go out of business. The ones that remain will make more margin at higher prices.

Someone stated earlier Eric Chang sold all his holdings.

Does anyone else have a link or list of individuals with large holdings which could be future sellers to bring this price down?

We're so well placed against the competition - hard to see how someone won't almost be forced to bid for us in order to stay profitable

Those are CAD. The mining cost in USD for each BTC was $8,411. That's before halving!

HUT8 mined 1,116 BTC in Q1 at a total operating cost of $12.6m.They are going to need a much higher BTC price.

Fiat money still has to be laundered into crypto and no better place to do it with no questions asked than the UK who I believe are working very closely with the swiss.Oh yes the UK is backing crypto in a very big way

Orm5 - HUGELY more so. It's vert frustrating languishing at these levels but eventually the market will wake up and we'll get a rapid rerating.
