Quite a bit of selling to get out of the way under 100p I reckon - lots of buying down at 70-80p, that's a lot of profit at 90p, although the jump this morning would have caught out a lot of potential buyers.

Good to have some sanity on here, the other thread is junk status.

That surge in BTC is promising indeed. Really bullish in cementing trading range in the $30-$38 until it tries new highs.

So 2Tyke has a new handle here? The only idiot who could ramp a dog like OBC!

Depends entirely on what rating you want to apply, but even in little old UK, there are ratings of 40-60 for 'normal' companies growing profits fast, which might be say 15% of revenue. imo ARB is way off normal on that metric.

Thanks for the clarification re your use of EW.Just to point out 2Tyke also ramped OBC here earlier.Since he left the other thread this morning after telling us the chart did what it was expected to, again, in hindsight, after the event, and he was effectively told to sling his hook. This is the correct thread for TA including all EW predictions right?

No problem. Highlighting a potential DB is fine. Just spare us the guff about what a DB is. Clear?

Just to recap the actual likely business results this month: PW said in one of the webcasts that efficiency was 70%+. That's on the existing machines.

There will be a revenue figure which I reckon will be about 2.2mln. (90btc x gbp25K)
However, its the rest that's important to see the fairly amazing net profit levels.

Depreciation was about 3mln at interims, so perhaps 0.5mln for a month.
Overheads about 200K.

Possibly around GBP1mln profit for Jan.
That's a silly final % of revenue.

I like to use EW as my 'scaffold' and then I use standard s/r and other indicators to determine levels. EW provides the direction though.

No. It's a question of nuance. I think tyke has made the mistake that many technicians make in believing nothing else matters. I don't agree. I'm totally with Tyke on the predictive power of Elliot Wave theory. I've used it for years and it truly is mind boggling once you start to realise how accurate it is. I could write pages about its mathematical grounding in fractals, Fibonacci levels, golden ratios etc but for our purposes, all you need to know is that it works. The 'issue' with EW, and any good EW trader will tell you this, is it's subjectivity. You could get 10 EW Chartists to draw in their count and they would all differ. However, on the larger scales those differences tend to diminish.
