Good morning to all.

Ironic that on the day we get confirmation of increased capacity (with lots more to come) BTC takes another fall from the $34,000 level.

Still, if its keeping a lid on the price so be it. The more shares accumulated here makes for a better long-term.

I sense BTC will turn blue today, utter guess, but the strength yesterday from 30ish to 33+ was quite solid.....let's see....if it breaks 40k we should see ARB back through a quid I should think.....

Hey Suffers, thanks for setting up new thread. Will be great to exclude trolls like the first one already moderated, but hope we will still have good open debate and opinions (properly reasoned from any bears).

Regarding things to include in the header, something simple I keep a close eye on as it is in real-time (EDIT: rather not a day out like hashrate on Blockchain.com and updates during day) is this - hxxps://hashrateindex.com/coins/bitcoin.

It provides a graph and a fairly easy way to look through the BTC price noise to see actual impact on ARB bottom-line. i.e. currently, miners earning $0.2176 per day for each TH/s. ARB's new announcement confirms additional 127 petahash (127,000 TH) - so additional daily amount of $27,635 or monthly $829k revenue - pick your margin (I have detailed calcs for it, but assuming conservative 70% for example is $580k extra).

PS - sorry for adding "fundamentals", but will see a strong correlation between the share prices of the miners and movements in this graph ...

PPS - smart announcement from Peter - not new news, so could time when it hit, and waited for a strong green day (based on US) to put it out.

As stated there should be 2 re-ratings here: the realisation that Arb should be higher rated than peers because it is most efficient and has leveraged the machines over the right time; and the rise associated with rising btc price and hodl level.

I suspect the first will happen after our next market update, and the second as institutional buying of btc continues.

Just a hunch by I still think btc will get to 100k in the next 5 weeks, before consolidation over a few months before the blow off.

We will move up to say 80-90p range, that 10,000 additional miners is the bit of news I liked, as coming on board by summer could reap the bitcoin price before it moves significantly higher. Long term looking good here.

Edit: batches between February and June, so news flow will see re-rate each time.

Investors buy and sell assets all the time. They buy and then
they sell.
You are being confused by volatility..nothing more.
On the news last night we were shown a chart 'gamestop' which small investors are piling into to try and teach hedge funds a lesson.
The chart was a clear...5 waves up followed by 3 wave crash.
There is no escape from how markets move....whoever buys ir sells.
