Some of us can see that some of the forecasts going forward for both BTC and ARB might not be so outlandish after all.

Nice post Euclid - a lot of BTC sceptics being forced to change their tune as the weight of money moving into crypto making them look a bit foolish

Bapodra

I know that, but that was not the point of my post - you were supposed to take the specific and use it to think of the general.

I suggest you look at the effect ‘free’ ‘clean’ energy has had on iceland, extrapolate mining demand and consider the future energy requirements from hydroelectric and the consequences.

And breathe...

Might be an idea, if you can, to import the CNBC live price link for ARBKF in the header, which will make it convenient to refer to during the evening.

Yes, thank you for this SNF. My knowledge of charts etc is very poor, but learning all the time and a fascinating subject it is.

Good to see we are up 21% in the US tonight.

After trashing Bitcoin in Davos in January 2020, Ray Dalio, the billionaire hedge fund manager behind Bridgewater Associates, now says that he “greatly admires” it in his company’s newsletter:

I greatly admire how Bitcoin has stood the test of 10 years of time, not only in this regard but also in how its technology has been working so well and has not been hacked.

He now recognizes the world’s largest cryptocurrency as an “attractive storehold of wealth” and “a long duration option” on the murky future.

Overall, it’s clear that Bitcoin has features that could make it an attractive storehold of wealth; it also has proven resilient so far.

Bridgewater, the largest hedge fund with $138 billion worth of assets under management, is now looking into Bitcoin for its two new funds amid currency devaluation.
