Can forgive slow growth from a SAAS company but clients have to be very sticky . A client leaving because another competitor is providing data software as part of a bundle is very bad news .

Potential to have seen this coming following the poor results from a few months ago given weaker market comments. If EPS is more likely to be c. 5p then share price may have further to go given positive outlook statement this update is very vague. Without the growth a more modest PE of 14-16 seems more appropriate until there is some evidence of revenue and profit growth.

SP fell below £1.20 again today, so added @ 1.22, (although not completely filled), about the same price as Mssrs. Jeffs and Lewis recently. A pity that Mr Wicks didn't buy as well.

Growth, as the chairman pointed out in his downbeat comments, has stalled due to maintaining the sales initiative made before Covid hit and the loss of a 10% Irish customer (Ulster Bank???).

On the plus side, ARC continue profitably, increasing dividends whilst adding to the cash rich balance sheet. A hint toward M&A activity in the final results too.

Zambia is very, very corrupt.

Court Appoints Receiver, Mwenya Andrew Mukupa to Manage Assets of Arc Mineral’s Subsidiaries in Zambia. It’s unfortunate the shareholders are never told the truth and there is a lot more coming. One would expect listed companies to respect the disclosure rules of the AIM but this is not the case with Arc Minerals.

Sold a month ago too, bit late informing the market.

Boros and Dingley appear to have sold ~160k shares into a weak market, so not surprising that we are well down. Also, tells us not to have any great expectations in the foreseeable, I think..

Fell off its trolley about 11:30 this morning.
What's that all about?
No large delayed trade showing - yet, but it's approaching new low territory, back to mid-2018 levels.

It appears that ARC may have been tipped in a Simon Thompson piece in the Investor's Chronicle.

Another of my holdings CYAN apparently finds a mention too....

FY 22/23 for expecting growth is a long way out so not surprised at the fall this morning, and can expect a modest rating on the business for a while. If you're very patient this could be worthwhile but the risk of parking capital in this for 2 years and it doesn't materialise is the main issue. Will revisit following future trading statements to see if there is any change in the business sentiment/growth expectations.

That depends on what any "significant post year-end information" might be. My statement is agnostic on that point!

You think? It's the same wording as last year - the shares then fell from c200p to under 150p in short order.

The rns seems to contain a hint that there will also be some significant post year-end information.

Good morning all :)

One of the problems with ARC is the sparsity of its communications. We haven't had any trading news (rns) since the interims in February. We normally get an update in mid-July but nothing this year. It could sag further before the finals, usually towards the end of August (e.g. 25th?). Companies don't get bonus points for keeping their members in the dark.

Thanks jonut - I seem to recall that there was some frenzied buying resulting in the late Feb spike in ARC following the IC article. A fair few spikes over the years in ARC have been due to tipsters and then the share price drifts down and finds a base for sideways movement.

February 2021 IC Article posted here on 01Mar21.

I must have missed this here, first time round.

Came across on the LSE site today from Feb21. Seems a reasonable introduction to ARC for those unaware of the company.

Good morning all :)

No trading update and unusually late by ARC track record....maybe we will only hear towards the end of Aug or early Sep with the Final results ?

Let us hope that we are all pleasantly surprised with a double digit % growth in revenues....and the extra week delay is due to contract signing reasons and not because of Summer hols or quarantining :)

I also expected the TU today. 15Jul last year, 11Jul the year before, so later than usual. Hope it's good news causing the delay.

The share price has lifted 3p on 2 buys total £5000 this morning.

ps. ARC has 4 years of RNS's on a single Investegate page.

Ha ha !!

I seemed to form the impression that is was "news" in general, not necessarily Trading Updates in particular that were released on a Thu more often - it could have been a sampling artefact :)

However, doesn't matter...my money is on Trading Update tomorrow (Thu,22 July) - just a gut feeling !
