Shares in the software licensing group are 1.25p higher at 27.5p, bucking the market's downward trend after confirming that it is reviewing its strategic options with a view to maximising shareholder value. Recent speculaion has centred on a return of cash to shareholders. It has £108m in the bank. This could equate to a return of aboput 6p to 13p a share after taking account of the company's requirements. On the back of the announcement Evolution Beeson Gregory has raised its rating in the shares to outperform from market perform saying that with the shares trading at a 30% discount to cash value, the risk-reward balance is in shareholder favour.

There have been problems on AFN recently ( since the USA site was set up !?! ) regarding the 'A' flag, with numerous announcements for companies (TAD is particularly bad) not showing. I use www.ukwire.co.uk for announcements.

I agree with Hilary, I suspect they have a few more shares to dump, even though they're below the notifiable 3% :

There has been a seller around, dumping into strength, I assumed it was Nobby, but perhaps there's another stale bull who can't be bothered to wait for the inevitable!!!

However, there are 11 MMs and they are notoriously sneaky, with an internal BID/OFFER spread, currently, of 22 - 26.75p. You can never really tell what are buys or sells, including the 250K @ 26p, which could be our seller or could be a buy!

....as I write, two large buys of 500K and 250K have gone through and another MM has moved onto the bid. But no move from Nobby, who is the last MM on 26.75p.

Another big buy.I'll be looking at this very seriously. Signs look good, if a bid comes even as low as 35p-a-share, it would be a 30+% premium. Very little downside. IMHO.

Mike, Hi! Still use TDW but also idealing.com who I dealt with this morning.

ideal show me quantities available and quote buy and sell price whether I am looking to buy or sell so very useful. TDW have improved I agree, one thing I have noticed is that if I want to deal early I can put a limit order in and get it filled before 8am, so all in al very happy with both companies. I would've thought that Nomura are going to be controlling the price for quite a while yet. All their rns says is that they still hold 9 million or less. They'll probably try to work hand-in-glove with another mm to create a fake bid otherwise nobody else will bid it up all the time they know NMRA's form.

Had to buy a few of these as risk reward ratio looks excellent, I found that I could only buy 10k online but sell 25k another good indicator!
