Yes, this has always been a tricky share to read. I warned everyone about the ARK MMs, IMHO they often act in collusion, which, of course, is against FSA regs.

I sold half my holding, on the day of the cashback announcement, for a modest 12% profit. I was overweight and decided to play it safe as I suspected the MMs were setting another bear trap and it would probably retrace, which it has.

But I'm happy to hold the rest of my holding, as I still see minimal downside in the short to medium term. There is a possibility the 'top is in' on the recent market rally, but I still feel ARK will act independently to a large degree. It didn't go up with the sector, but I suspect the reverse will also be true to some extent.

BIG BIG PROBLEMS for ARK.....very risky 16p to come soonnn...

Looks like these stock will not be worth giving away due to BAD sales....pipeline not turning into sales......waste of time......won't even give these away with a bag of Fish and CHIPS....(as these are burned chips)

The million was a late trade timeed at 10.55 - the same as the 1.8 million earlier. Something is afoot me thinks

Notice the lack of impact on the price, there must be large chunks being passed to a buyer, hopefully once the overhang lifts we should see some action. Very irritating to be missing out on the tech rally in everything but Ncipher and Arc!!

potentially much more rewarding to hang in there for economies to pick up, revenues accelerate. why sell out at 40p?

It was a market maker to market maker trade, unusual quantity I wonder if its heading for New Star, already built a stake of 11%. Surely it must mean a bid from whomever they are building for (its a non-beneficial stake). I think ARM are building at low levels to reduce their future cost of bid. Theyll be able to offer 40p at a cost equal to their previous supposed 35p bid. Id take it too.
