31/10/2002 18:34 | Nice chunky 300K buy at the end of the day, this coincided with another MM moving up to 26p on the bid, making 4 MMs moving up on the day. ....and now, by special request of moonie, we have halfpenny's analysis of ARK : halfpenny - 29 Oct'02 - 14:30 - 129 of 146 looking like below 24p....... be aware....hold on if you can..... 24 below likely.....uuuggghhh So, halfpenny thinks it's " uuuggghhhh " for ARK!....Is he right ? Or will ARK stay buoyant ? Only time will tell! This is mad4IT, 'Rooters News', reporting from the ARK Bulletin Board. | mad4it
31/10/2002 13:00 | i like him | moonblue
31/10/2002 10:02 | trading blue, thanx for the info. I'm not surprised they turned down a bid of 35p, as their Cash Per Share is 37p and NAV is 41p. ARK have enough cash to grow and run the company for 6-7 years, more than enough time for a cyclical recovery in the chip sector, so why should they sell now for 35p! However, I suspect they probably would submit to an offer closer to NAV, if they were put under enough 'pressure'. Time will tell. Either way you look at it, ARK looks an attractive play as a consolidation or cyclical recovery story. | mad4it
31/10/2002 09:44 | they have turned down the bid becaust they are worth 45p and above.....they will accept 40p with sahres being included.... now looking good for going towards 45p.... ARM will push these upwrds..... 45p to commeee | halfpenny
31/10/2002 09:18 | Guardian says they just turned down 35p bid and shareholders forming a group to demand answers regarding what will happen with all this cash etc.... | trading blue
30/10/2002 14:36 | or be aware and beware the bear!....Talking of which.... ....WHAT! Nomora Nomura! ....and we begin to tick up again ;) | mad4it
30/10/2002 14:03 | looks like ARK MUST find a buyer as CONTRACTS ARE NOT BEING SIGNED.....what ever happened to the PIPELINE....its not comming through for ARK or for ARM... PROBLEMS TO COME.....ARK MUST SELL itself... less than 24p to come be aware | halfpenny
30/10/2002 00:48 | mad4it remember the squeezes ...they were brutal | moonblue
30/10/2002 00:45 | Reminds me of the song covered by Roberta flack, the fugees....... ....and Paul Kavanagh : " Killick me softly with his long " LOL! Those were the days eh moonie,£3.40! If only I'd decided to Ronnie Corbett at those levels. | mad4it
