Market underestimating the value of Unilever here revenues will build as their products are vital for testing .

Unilever big Client and seem very impressed and interestingly looking at 'additional opportunities' with Aptamer. This is looking very positive.

Today’s announcement adds a bit more meat to the bones regarding Unilever’s utilisation of aptamers for odour control.

I suspect that Unilever were inspired to look at aptamers for odour control after picking up on P&Gs patent application ( WO2020214784A1 Aptamers for odour control applications) published in October 2020


The P&G/Neo-Ventures patent application proposes using aptamers that have a high binding affinity and specificity for malodorous molecules, whereas the Unilever/APTA work concerns targeting the C-S Lyase bacterial enzyme, which is critical in the generation of the malodrous molecules.

Intuitively the Unilever approach seems more logical (and hopefully more effective) as it is intended to intervene earlier in the pathway of malodour generation. Furthermore, it is a completely different approach to that employed by P&G thus avoiding any infringement of P&G intellectual property (should P&G’s patent be granted).

Obviously a positive development. Not sure its news which will make the share price 10x however the market cap here is so low that doubling or more on relatively light news is easily possible. I keep coming back to what this would be worth if it was a prviate VC backed business - it would be considerably in excess of where it is now. What is keeping things held back is thta the recent equity raising was effectively a company re-start given that the old shares only owned c.25% of the company

I think one ought to ignore the short term gyrations and effort by some like Nico to induce a spike by churning out overly optimistic puffery. No need to chase it, but I have been accumulating recently and await developments to unfold in due course.

Morning everyone The facts are there for all to read and APTA will be fully funded for the next 18 months at least notwithstanding contracts coming to fruition (of which there are some very creditable ones with big pharmas).If your medium to long on this then unless any of the material information thats in the public domain changes (and it may well do but only for the positive) then there is no anxiety about fluctuation or whose investedIf a bed and breakfast or short term investor then you may well be watching for any sign daily that will give you some sort of return.Im in this on the medium to long term with a holding Im happy with over the years this has brought me a good return so Im not bothered with daily movement

Some pretty sad ex holders lingering around by the looks of it with no idea what they are doing .funded for 2 years there will be plenty of news that will.mobe this up ,they have 2.1m of new work lined up that will get announced in coming months and a potential big news event before end of year . Follow the money ,some of the tr1s know more than anyone posting rubbish on here and they have bought shares . Be patient

Not necessarily true ,as you said there are plenty available so no risk in showing ones intentions . Added another 2.5m this am .

Just a case of waiting for more deals to arrive here and plenty of time for them to drop now . Follow the money
