16/8/2024 10:00 | Spoke too soon the shares will be getting dumped for a few weeks imo especially the 200m shares for the warrants . After that depends what the major holders will do I suspect most of them will hold that took part in the placing .. Will get close to 0.2p imo the way it's going | bones698
15/8/2024 20:03 | From the RNS releases from Nico My conclusion is that his position has a average of approximately 0.5 Which if correct is a pretty good average considering what’s happened. Like I’ve said before, I’m hopeful for at least 4 X this in the medium term. | washingmachine

14/8/2024 23:55 | Jason.Calling someone a parasite when they've taken fraction under 7 percentage of the company is a tad disingenuous. He, unlike many, have stumped up cash to follow his and their conviction. He partook in the 1p placement so buying at 0.2 was a smart move.I'm sure when he offloads at 1.2 the only parasite will be you wishing you'd hung onto his coattails. Now behave | roughandtumbleone
14/8/2024 15:32 | A parasite worm mr slater who has connections. However this time he’s been given a dead parrot in info. will enjoy this 👊 | jasonpugh

14/8/2024 09:57 | gepetto et al Just to recap on the various types of equity fund raising that are used on LSE and AIM. I think you can probably subdivide equity fund raising into four/five different categories nowadays: Rights issues: These are quite rare nowadays, especially for small cap companies as they are expensive. They are generally underwritten and the rights are listed and tradeable, hence why they are expensive. Existing shareholders get awarded a certain number of rights proportional to the size of their shareholding. Placings: these are open to Institutions, HNWs and other qualified individuals, there is no requirement to own the shares in order to participate. Retail Offers: Open to existing shareholders through their existing brokers (AJ Bell, Hargreves Lansdown etc). One such example is REX (operated by Peel Hunt) Open Offers: These often accompany placings, you need to be an existing shareholder (at the qualifying date) in order to participate, qualifying shareholders get a basic entitlement but they can also apply for an excess (Open offer entitlements are not tradable) Primary Bid: Open to all self certified investors (need to open an account to partcipate) Just to clarify, the recent Aptamer fund raise was a placing and there was no accompanying Open Offer. There was no requirement to own the shares in order to participate. | timbo003
14/8/2024 09:36 | You can buy 1mn blocks now at 0.23p. | divmad
14/8/2024 09:19 | Timbo - I think the simple answer to all this discussion is this is not a Rights Issue they are open and conditional placings. There is a distinct difference Rights are offered to all existing shareholders usually at discountOpen are directly offers shares to selected investors bypassing existing shareholders Conditional are similar to an open offer but as we know are subject to conditions being met and needs approval from existing shareholders ie GM | gepetto100
14/8/2024 08:51 | >>>>Adam I would recommend opening a number of accounts in order to get access to a wider range of opportunities as possible. Over the last few years I have used GIS, Shard, TP, Clear Capital Markets amongst others. | timbo003
14/8/2024 08:30 | How do you get access to all those placings Timbo? Who is your broker? Thanks | adamb1978
14/8/2024 07:41 | Just to add..... Being an existing shareholder (who has acquired shares in the open market) in a placing is now a distinct disadvantage, as you can no longer claim EIS tax relief. That idiotic rule was introduced back in 2015/2016 by the then Chancellor George Osborne and his chief henchman David Gauke | timbo003
14/8/2024 07:35 | >>>Bumpa, that is indeed the case. There is no requirement to hold shares in a company prior to acquiring shares in that company in a placing (thank goodness). If there were then why would companies do (expensive) placings? They would just raise cash through (inexpensive) open offers instead and they wouldnt have to have general meetings in order to disapply pre-emption rights. Furthermore, if placings were only open to existing investors, companies would never be able to raise the funds required. I have probably participated in over 100 placings over the past 10 years or so and being an existing shareholder has never been a requirement | timbo003
14/8/2024 07:26 | No he wouldn’t. I’ve never held APTA before and bought in the placing. It wasn’t a rights or open offer, just a straight placing - in theory open to anyone if you made the enquiry/have the contacts. Anyway, all resolutions passed. Now I await the TR1’s. | bumpa33
14/8/2024 07:15 | Timbo the point being he would have had to buy shares at above 0.6p to get the option to buy the shares at 0.2p so really false economy imo and a bit of a lie saying he got them all at 0.2p tbh . I could have done the same but what would be the point when I knew this was having a fund raise at a big discount ? Anyway the shares are now on the market so we will see if there is a lot of offloading or it settles around this price m will take a few months to sort them out . You never know sub 0.2p is possible . Once it settles though it will move on positive news and deals. I reckon there a a few sat waiting hoping there is some selling and the share price drops so they can buy a load . Should be entertaining at least | bones698
12/8/2024 18:31 | LOL Nico is Nicholas Slater. You may find an RNS or 2 in his name 🤔 Possibly even may know a thing or 2 about investing 🤔 🤣🤣 | argylerich
12/8/2024 18:01 | multibagger - 31 May 2024 - 21:00:40 - 4689 of 5013 ☆☆ Aptamer Group - Novel Antibody Mimetics (Optimers) ☆☆ - APTA Looks like the APTA ex-TR1 holder (who I think posts as nico115) has moved on to Transense Technologies (TRT). Maybe that explains the selling of APTA recently to buy more TRT. | thiopia |
