Yes happy to wait for now see how it unfolds and see if I can get some more around 0.25p. Initial target will be a return to 1p and the all important figure is revenues going forward. If they can turn those potential contracts into actual deals then they might even hit break even at which point I expect this to rerate. At these levels it's a no brainier for me and you only have to look at companies that have done similar recently to see this will be much higher later this year.

Parsons Bones et al - I agree that it'll take a little time now to consolidate and I'm more inclined to go with 0.3 but as I've said I'm in no hurry this looks set now to flourish with this funding A great day yesterday by the way I managed to treble my holding

I tend to agree but 1.4bn shares is a lot of ahdres. Guess we will see later this month. I'd like it to fall back a bit to buy more but not convinced it will either.

I think this is different from a lot of recent fund raises because there has been a vast improvement in prospects so soon after the last 2 raises at 1p and 1.1p. As a consequence basically the majority of the new money is probably coming from the same shareholders who have averaged down and will continue to hold. I more than doubled my holding this morning and my overall average is .55p happy with that !! There will be some profit taking by new shareholders but I can't see the price getting much below .25 all imho of course GLA

That's a tough one I would have said it will come back towards the placing price at first and it still might, but 85% of the shares are ii held and that might change it. Early days yet and the shares haven't hit the market but I think it will come down at some point to around 0.25 maybe once they are in the system.

That's my thoughts but can't be certain here. The amount of iis holding here is very high compared to other companies. That might change the way it goes

What do you think here, bones? Will the pull of gravity be too much for the share price to withstand or is the story that strong to ignore the placing anchor?

Upturn in sales and order book as the year progressed

The unaudited revenue for the year was approximately £0.85 million with £0.55 million generated in the second half of the year. Following the lull in customer confidence caused by the acute funding problem in August 2023, confidence had to be rebuilt with customers which translated into the rebuilding of the sales pipeline. These efforts have led to increased revenues in the second half of the year and an encouraging rise in order book values. In the last quarter of the financial year, £0.98 million in orders were won which has resulted in a total of £1.8 million in signed orders currently being processed or awaiting processing in the laboratory.

In addition to the order book, we have a current pipeline of advanced sales negotiations totalling £2.1 million. Consequently, Aptamer Group is well-positioned moving into the new financial year, with ongoing work progressing through the lab and a robust sales pipeline.

This is the significant part for me and shows that revenues are increasing quickly.

Exactly given what they have and who they are in bed with it's a great oppurtunity now it's funded for another 18 months. More deals will ocme and they will grow in size. Just need some patience at the start then it will move on news when it comes.

The very low mkt cap is a big plus even with so many shares in issue post raise. That means any good news will impact the share price positively now. Great chance for those getting in now or those that decide to average down heavily. Imo

3.8m mkt cap 2.8m cash 1m in recurring revenue in H1. Do the math

Bagpuss yes I expect it to stay around the placing price or a few months while the shares find homes but after that I expect it to rise quickly. The malt cap was under 3m before the raise so 6m mkt cap with 3m cash roughly. Signing big name companies. What mnay are missing is the recurring revenues here which will lead to some significant turnover in years to come.

These y have rebuilt the customer base after the last managekent team and know what is needed. See the recent deals done. The funding issue held the share price back imo but now it's sorted and with many more deals to come I expect revenues at 2m by end of year and 3-4m next which should see them cash neutral.
The cost savings are always welcome and they are tightening their belts making cash break even easier to reach.

They raised 4m nearly 2 years ago so it's lasted them well on minimal revenues. The product is good, you don't sign such big companies if it's not.

Time will tell but at this piece it looks excellent oppurtunity to me

Well called, bones. Why do you think the new bod is going to make a better go of the business than the old one? Can the science that APTA owns justify a multiple increase in company value over time without heavy ongoing R&D expense?

Filtered another clueless advfn poster. This must be were they come to pass time on the dole.
Timbo, those targets are very high, let's hope they avhieve at least one of them. Revenues need to keep increasing now so hopefully we will see more deals in a few months taking revenues past 2m in quick order.

Good to see that the Director/employee share options announced with the fund raise have quite demanding (albeit achievable) vesting criteria 🤑
