JT,

Agreed. A far more likely outcome than any suggested by the 10p next week cheerleaders both here & next door IMHO.

Our Dear Old CEO has got to communicate to his company's owners soon I guess?

Feb is not so far away is it George?

You're going to look rather foolish (again) if forced to confess to yet another slip of deadline at the 11th hour!

CQ ;-)

Feels like the permit is a formality and will be granted when required.

Empyrean Energy (EME) announced drilling operational status of the Jade prospect. Survey engineers have now provided a greater sea swell tolerance to conduct the well site survey over the drilling location, requiring only 3 to 4 days of swell less than 1.7 metres before rig mobilisation and drilling. Permitting is in progress and expected to be completed in the coming weeks, although the last of the eight permits requiring the well site survey is still necessary to finalise the process.

CQ: how about a placing, after which, following a decent interval, the current bidder withdraws? Meanwhile the data room gradually empties as the 6(!) other interested parties one by one, having read the details of the Debenture, deliver a nolle prosequi?

I like the term "filled to spill" on Jade and recent Cnooc 4 discoveries found to be filled up to p10 and they used the gas cloud tech and so did EME showing same signs as cnooc and the best of all the dry holes had no gas clouds.

A 20% temporary increase

It's 100% up over the last few weeks

(UN)BalancedViewer still got his knickers in a twist over on LSE I see.

A 20% temporary increase after a 90%+ decrease - since Lucan's arrival - is hardly anything to shout about... + we already had an horrific share price drop even before that!

Some folk need 8, 9 and 10P to break even here - after years of enduring the whims of underwhelming (yet inappropriately well-paid) management...

What's next, I wonder: Anguish bought out on the cheap, at mates rates, or yet another f'ing discount placing to re-fuel those totally unjustified BOD salaries?

AIM at it's best!

JT,

The BOD of this company are having a laugh at their shareholder's expense IMHO!

Although... having been invested here for several years, I already know that smoke & mirrors comes with the territory... so I am NOT in the least bit surprised.

CQ: then there was this, from the answer to the same question asked on 1 December:

“....delay, if there be any, is likely to be very limited i.e. of the order of a week or two rather than months, but we will update the market as soon as all suppliers have evaluated all options advsed us of final delivery dates.”

So can we assume that not all of their suppliers have evaluated their options or advised Anguish of delivery dates yet? This question was asked almost two months ago.

Raisethestake1: the writing has been on the wall here since September 2020 when they announced the £12mm shortfall on their £2.5mm project at Poundland. It took 8 months to negotiate a loan and the terms when it was finalised were usurious, reflecting the fact that Anguish had no prospect of a better offer. Yes, the gas price has gone very much in Poundland’s favour since then and, provided that it flows gas as predicted, has completely transformed the economics of the project. However, Anguish has been unfortunate with the virus and its effects on supplies of kit and unavailability of ships to transport it in, so that the time constraints in the ungenerous loan terms appear likely to be transgressed, as a result of which the Lenders may take over the company’s assets. There’s still a chance they will get Poundland gas flowing on time but it’s at long odds as far as the better-informed posters on this site can see. Poundland is likely to make money but it may just come on stream too late for Anguish.

I h as d as n in original investment of £4000 here. It is now worth about £500. I know that there are lots with a higher average than me. I would need 10p shareprice to break even so at this stage I would be happy to retrieve half of my original stake at a shareprice of 5p. A sale at 1.5p isn't much good to me
I think it is madness to sell so near to switching on. It is obvious that our hand is being forced in the sale by the lenders and the announcement of cost over run of 10% coupled with previous time delays is a tactic to keep the shareprice low in order to do a sweetheart insider deal with whoever. AIM wild West at its finest.
At the extremely high gas prices this should have turned into a goldmine. What is the problem here when we should be at the races.

Global fertilizer prices soared to multi-year highs in the past few months following surge in prices of key feedstocks natural gas and coal, and certain export restrictions put in place by supplying countries.

Around the globe, natural gas is used as a raw material as well as fuel for nitrogen fertilizer production. In some countries such as China, coal is gasified into ammonia and used for manufacturing fertilizers.

Nitrogen fertilizers are the most used fertilizers in the world. Ammonia, phosphorous and potash are the other important fertilizer components.

According to the European crop nutrient company Yara Fertilizers, in several of their transformation steps, natural gas, essentially methane, is upgraded by combination with nitrogen from the air to form nitrogen fertilizer.

JT,

It's laughable isn't it?

Where AIM is concerned, it seems that the meaning of words take on a whole new life!?!?!

Come on George... where's our update on your revised... revised... revised... revised... revised... revised? Current Deadline for Delivery* (*apologies for using THAT -D- WORD... I know how much you hate it!)

.... and the indefatigable cuds, under another of his names, is telling us that even if Angus goes bust, the Saltfleetby project will go ahead! So nimbys will be in the same boat anyway, so ought to shut up.

I think if I were a nimby, I’d prefer Shell as operator here in preference to these bozos, what? Or anyone, really.

CQ: “We aim during January to give a further revision to the timetable with days not weeks set for target deliveries for each skid/programme element and follow this with a daily update of snapshots of our 3D visual model of the site showing progress as each element is closed out.”

This was how he answered a question on 1 December and he repeated his assurance of weekly (not daily, oddly - did he forget?) updates earlier this month, I think. So the detailed update should come next week some time, if he’s got time to do it, or unless he thinks it might affect the enthusiasm of the 6 potential bidders. Though the word “aim” is among those listed as not to be relied upon, what?

Hits,

I fear balanced (lol?) viewer has jumped to the false conclusion that you are me!?!?!

Personally, I think BV is starting to sound a lot like James the 2nd - when the poor guy's going through one of his manic episodes!

Will George fess up next week about moving deadlines? February is fast approaching and there's not a hope in Hell of meeting the current one... is there George?

I do hope he tries - for once - to remember his obligations to update shareholders in a timely fashion... although I expect we'll get a last minute U-Turn as usual!

An interesting week share price wise.Steady while the market awaits news. A new offer or two next week perhaps? A flurry of RNS' have attracted many hypotheses.Predictably the holders showing profit are encouraged, the detractors still seeking a negative slant. Sadly for them, as their real motivations have been unmasked, their contributions should now be treated with great suspicion and probably be disgarded.

Sadly BalancedViewer is so narrow minded, he lacks both a sense of humour and a sense of irony.

Balanced by name... apparently NOT by nature.
