I know you struggle with difficult concepts (IN)Sincerio... So let's make this "really" simple for you: A man needs to bake & sell 10 loaves a day @ £1 to pay his bills. His "only" customer says she will buy 10 loaves per day from the man and pay him £1 per loaf. The man makes only 8 loaves average a day for the first month... so the customer buys only 8 per day. The man then struggles to pay for materials and makes none for the next two weeks... so the customer buys ZERO for those two weeks. Whenever the man fails to meet his pre-arranged quota, the customer simply buys from her various other suppliers. It makes no difference to the customer - as she has dozens of other suppliers she can buy from to sell on, but alas the baker cannot survive for very long unless he keeps hitting his quota day after day after day... Is that simple enough for you? IMHO, this is Anguish's arrangement with Shell (simplified). Nothing to do with proof of concept or need on Shell's part... just a good old fashioned "simple" trade agreement. If Anguish deliver... Shell will buy from them. If Anguish fail to deliver... Shell won't buy from them. One thing is abundantly clear: If George Lucan was your supplier, you would certainly NOT make him your preferred or ONLY supplier based on his current record! CQ ;-)

Talking about delay I still don't see the Balcombe appeal on the Planning Inspectorate portal yet they clearly informed market they were preparing a case for that appeal and 6 months has now passed since the WSCC decision. Wonder if Lucan will waffle his way around that one later?

"Work is underway to complete these projects with the aim to bring the field onstream in early 2021.” JT... LOL! Anguish at its best... or should that be Anguish "as per usual"? Expertise in DELAY & truly World-Class in the art of "NON DELIVERY"! CQ ;-)

uclot -"Say what you like about JTids and JA... but they've been proven to be RIGHT far more times than you (IN)Sincerio" considering you naturally failed finding all the times you believed that statement to be true, as it was just a lie, i assume you now realise you are a brainwashed halfwit... you're welcome. your recovery starts now ...

I’ve had an early look at the website this morning. Nothing new, but have they changed the “what we do” section? I can’t find the extravagant claims as to expertise etc. that I’m sure were there last time I looked. They remain true to form, however, in the Saltfleetby [Poundland] section: “The keys parts of the project are to install processing facilities on the existing Saltfleetby site to ensure gas is at the required pressure, temperature, and specification to be sent to the National Grid, and to install a short export pipeline extension of some 750m to connect the field directly to the National Transmission System. Work is underway to complete these projects with the aim to bring the field onstream in early 2021.” Good luck with that, then. What?

1347: much better and to be preferred. How about this old Scottish lullaby? It couldn’a be aught to do wi’ His Lordship’s connections in the area, could it? “Dream Angus Chorus Dreams to sell, fine dreams to sell, Angus is here with dreams to sell. Hush now wee bairnie and sleep without fear, For Angus will bring you a dream, my dear.”

JT - Lovely song, full of hope and joy and there's rainbows, so it's quite appropriate. I have no idea about light radio. Isn't that an oxymoron as I understood radio was audio only? Or have I misunderstood and it's refering to the device itself and it's light because it's one of those portable ones? Two way family favourites, you've lost me there, is that something to do with Norfolk possibly? UJ - Yes there could well be more disasters to come from the Earls of Hazard. Anyway try this song, one of the ocebot's favourites as I understand: Any time you’re Chiswick way Any evening, any day, You’ll find us all Doin’ the Chiswick ramp. Ev’ry little Chiswick gal With her little Chiswick pal, You’ll find ‘em all Doin’ the Chiswick ramp. Ev’rything free and easy, Do as we darn well pleasey, Why don’t you make your way there? Go there, stay there. Once you get down Chiswick way Ev’ry evening, ev’ry day, You’ll find yourself Doin’ the Chiswick ramp.

Fridays RNS - George Lucan, CEO, comments: "Whilst the Company views these oil producing fields as essentially legacy assets, and clean gas and geothermal as our primary focus, we remain committed to good husbandry of all of our sites and extracting maximum value for shareholders and expect this work to advance that goal.

I doubt anyone invested here is desperate for news on a geothermal project----I am looking forward to it CQ. We already know that the people who stumped up the 12 m for the gas want to support the BOD. I'm interested to find out more
