Fridays RNS - George Lucan, CEO, comments: "Whilst the Company views these oil producing fields as essentially legacy assets, and clean gas and geothermal as our primary focus, we remain committed to good husbandry of all of our sites and extracting maximum value for shareholders and expect this work to advance that goal.

I doubt anyone invested here is desperate for news on a geothermal project----I am looking forward to it CQ. We already know that the people who stumped up the 12 m for the gas want to support the BOD. I'm interested to find out more

1347: ugh. Ghastly. Sick-making. How about this, based on a song that was once popular as I understand it with listeners to “Two Way Family Favourites” on the Light Programme, what? A long time ago, when the earth was still green, There were more sources of energy than you've ever seen; There was oil and gas, wind and wave but sure as you’re born. The thing they liked promoting was the Unicorn. There were stock promoters and brass-necked shills Some PR people with ramping skills, Some fatcats, rats and NomAds, but sure as you're born What they most liked promoting was the Unicorn.

Time for a song, I'd say, I know how much JT likes this one... Somewhere over the rainbow way up high There's a Poundland that I heard of once in a lullaby Somewhere over the rainbow Geothermal is true And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true Someday I'll wish upon a star And wake up where the hedges are far behind me Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me Somewhere over the rainbow bluebirds fly Birds fly over the rainbow Why then, oh, why can't I? If happy little bluebirds fly Beyond the rainbow Why, oh, why can't I?

Hits and CoIf you feel the management are really bad... Have you tried a strategic approach?CQ and Co?As a group of intelligent investors why not have a meeting with the Board and Hollis to discuss your grievances?I'd say the best option is to contact the Regulators and seek legal advice?

Say what you like about JTids and JA... but they've been proven to be RIGHT far more times than you & others (IN)Sincerio. They questioned the purchase of Saltfleetby (aka Poundland) and it's low asking price at the time - for instance. They also predicted delays on delivery back in 2020 and again in 2021 which have played out in full. They predicted issues on all the oil assets(?) and questioned their liabilities. They have also asked pertinent questions about the MD's supposedly "temporary" post... the office move (which never happened) and the reason we are still paying Jonathan Tidswell? Their current argument for clarity on the hedges is a vitally important one which the company should address as a matter of urgency! They are both well researched and pose legitimate questions that should be of concern to shareholders and would-be investors IMHO. CQ ;-)

Calling Saltfleetby "PoundLand" is fitting IMHO. There's no disguising the fact that good old George trumped it up as a cheap way of making money for shareholders... only he underestimated the costs by circa £10 million and the company is now heavily indebted and over a barrel to its financiers as a result. Anyone with half a brain realised that this was just "TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE" at the time (and many said so!) so why didn't our finance expert George Lucan recognise the pitfalls? As I said: let's see what happens... but the current geothermal rhetoric reminds me of the gas rhetoric before it which helped to transition us from the oil rhetoric before that... healthy scepticism IMHO. CQ ;-)

My current issue is the sudden enthusiastic rhetoric around "Geothermal" seems to me to be an intentional distraction by management. I doubt anyone invested here is desperate for news on a geothermal project that could take several years to prove up? They invested in gas that was just around the corner "supposedly"... but this is what Anguish keep doing: They promise one thing... kick the can on another thing... then fail to deliver on either. This repetitive cycle needs to be broken... and they need to CONCENTRATE ON DELIVERY AT POUND LAND! Then everyone would be happy. Myself included. CQ ;-)

WhoCares, Why is that a negative bias? I am saying that I want to see Angus succeed - if they fulfil their latest promise. And if they don't, I think they should be struck off - having already had a string of failures to their name, I don't think anyone could argue that they are fit for purpose anymore at that point - do you? I am prepared to wait to see how PoundLand fares. CQ ;-)

CQ That suggests to me, with the negative bias your desire is No 2----I think he is past the point of caring tbh regrading the outcome. I suspect JT is in the same boat. However there is a reason people paid 4p/5p not so long ago......The asset is there we just need somebody to do their job properly and get it out the ground.

WhoCares: I am a reasonable man: 1) I would like to see Angus SUCCEED - so long as they fulfil their promises and finally make some profit for their long suffering shareholders. or: 2) Equally, I would genuinely like to see Angus FAIL - if they continue to squander shareholder's hard earned money making spurious claims that are never fulfilled. Under these circumstances I feel it better to have bad managers struck off, so they are unable to cause further hardship to honest hard working private investors. Reasonable & fair in my book? CQ ;-)
