09/2/2021 08:02 | Actually, Deacon your 2019 December post says all about you. A blatant ramper just trying to get others to support your underwater position. You never debate this share but just ramp it - like most here. The share price performance tells the truth - you don't. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
09/2/2021 07:49 | Que Check out the coal price over the same period Then look at the price improvement of coking coal since you tipped Anglo Pacific a few weeks back Come on we know your game | pockstones
09/2/2021 07:29 | I, like you and most here have been wrong many times about many different things. My point remains however. It's what APF does from this point on that matters. I wanted to try and engage with you again, I'm always happy to debate good points and bad, bull and bear views, etc. But I think that sort of post yesterday evening says a lot more about the person you are, I'm afraid. Best of luck with your investments QP. | the deacon
09/2/2021 07:16 | A weak response but of course it takes a man to admit that he was wrong. | quepassa
08/2/2021 21:42 | No point looking backwards QP. Plenty of reasons as to why APF will do well over forthcoming years. | the deacon
08/2/2021 20:28 | Hi Deacon, This is a succinct and direct post of yours from fourteen months in December 2019. Your post number 9030. "Good to see the board trying to support the share price. It's a great buy at the moment". Share price then c 190p. Share price today c 130p You mentioned in December 2019 that "it's a great buy" but the share has subsequently fallen by some 30% against an absolutely roaring market. Would you care to proffer any explanation as to why the share has performed so dismally against your fervent expectations and pronouncements? ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
08/2/2021 19:44 | Que, It was a great call of yours around the pound a few weeks back as Kestrel works out over the next couple of years and LIORC proceeds are reinvested in more green commodities your vision of an ESG stock is becoming reality Keep them coming | pockstones
08/2/2021 18:15 | Q4-2020 portfolio income almost back to the same level as Q4-2019, very nice to hear this comment, also, it is encouraging that coking coal is one of the best performing commodities of 2021, up almost 50% year to date, this comment also setting us up for a strong recovery in Kestrel income in the year ahead.. Our LIORC equity interest is still 1.89% of their future royalty payouts and we are cash in hand ready to pay for our next royalties in new projects.. 7-8% - 9p FY2020 dividend | 1.75p next week, and 3.75p to come in June .. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
08/2/2021 18:09 | These are global funds QP, not local punters | the deacon
08/2/2021 18:04 | Altius is a Canada based and quoted company. Not a London listed and domiciled company. There is a massive difference in ESG investor tolerance between the local Canada markets and the UK markets. I doubt that last quarter was the top of the iron ore market. Many commentators are now revising prior forecasts that iron ore in 2021 will be significantly higher than previously thought. See S&P Platts Global (or ask LLBinliner):- hXXps://www.spglobal ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
08/2/2021 17:40 | Yes and no QP. Similarly to APF, Altius has exposure to both coking coal and thermal coal. In fact, it increased its thermal coal exposure because of the attractiveness of the returns. Brian Dalton offset any ESG concerns on the basis that the revenue was being directed into Altius' renewables arm. Their share price has done particularly well recently. I think JT could do a better job in selling the 'legacy coal assets to green/21st C assets' plan a little better. The main issue there being that we're yet to see this actually happen in practice. Yes, Piaui has the nickel/cobalt EV story, but there's no other assets to flag as yet. Selling down the LIORC holding at the top of the market is sensible. That can always be bought back either partially or in full. Imo though, I think it signals further deals aren't far away. | the deacon
08/2/2021 17:33 | Energy Fuels - ZERO yield but +250% in three months. APF 5-10% yield - MINUS 20% over 12 months. Shouting a message about investor appetite/tolerance for anything associated/tinged with coal - irrespective of a very high yield. There is only one solution for APF. Break itself up into two classes of share - each separately quoted a) Legacy fossil fuel investments - yield orientated b) New Age battery/renewable metals - growth orientated ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
08/2/2021 17:23 | Diminshing?? With the decision to sell most of the crown jewels- the LIORC stake- coal income has as a percentage gone up again. Remains uninvestible for many institutions on ESG grounds. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
08/2/2021 16:57 | Welcome back Que Great call as usual I guess that with the coal significance diminishing you are hoping for the same to happen here | pockstones
08/2/2021 16:39 | Yes QP. Had Energy Fuels from $1.9. A nice performer | the deacon
08/2/2021 15:31 | Energy Fuels Inc. UP 250% in three months since November. $1.60 to $5.30. Uranium and Rare Earths | quepassa
08/2/2021 14:45 | What on Earth is going on out there? I'm almost certain there are headlines that read "Tesla buys bitcoin". I have checked and re-checked and the news articles continue to remain there. It is almost conceivable that they are not an illusion. Onto APF. Tried to play the dividend recovery angle here (at these price levels) a short while back. Price went up to sit bang on the resistance level on the chart, had a picnic there, waved a few times and then proceeded to throw a step over and fall back through the stop level...so err...yes....fanks! If the market shows more interest in pricing in a sustainable dividend yield here then this could go on and breach that recent high where it double topped. I'd want to see much more significant buying interest to warrant another go here though. Wasn't bad at throwing out step overs. Payback hurts. All imo DYOR | sphere25
08/2/2021 14:04 | An interesting move to cash in a large % of the LIORC stake and some before entitlement to the large Q4 div. Aside from the timing, in consideration of 2021 it does lead me to assume: 1) Confidence in the performance of the portfolio in 2021, coking coal has rebounded and also mantos copper de-bottlenecking coming on stream and this likely to cover a much smaller LIORC payout and the 9p dividend 2) As others have noted highly likely that some other deals are in the pipeline and well matured. | sporazene2
08/2/2021 09:37 | Thanks for that link, The Deacon. An encouraging few minutes. | woodhawk
08/2/2021 09:34 | Not bad results and a great divi as well as a big pile of cash to reinvest in new royalties. | arthur_lame_stocks

08/2/2021 08:09 | Very pleased with the excellent results from what was a very poor year. Onwards and upwards and a tasty divi to be going on with! | woodhawk
08/2/2021 08:04 | A decent yield to enjoy while we await to see what opportunities we are going to buy into. Sounds good to me | madengland_ |
