Recommend reading more critical, balanced and aware articles about "Extinction Rebellion" such as

www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2019/04/17/hardened-rabble-rousers-interested-marxism-climate-change/

Some very hypocritical leaders who want to stop others travelling (though they enjoy skiing and other holidays abroad), undermine capitalism and globalism (even though they've lifted more people out of poverty than anything else AND are more likely to produce answers and new technology we need to address cleaner energy needs).

Burning coal is not good ... but fossil fuels are still inevitably going to be used for a while longer ...and the UK is doing fare more than others ...

It's all over the news. You've all seen it on the TV. The Extinction Rebellion movement.

London brought to a standstill by peaceful demonstrations.

Link to the protesters' website:-

This is not comfortable news in my opinion for investors in coal.

It is - but if people believe the income is rising and predictable the share price will go up!

I sold at 163p then bought back in at 169p and then sold again at 185p. I am surprised by the continuing rise because I thought this share was about income rather than growth. How wrong I have been so far

I've sold out today. The share price has had a good run. I'm happy to get out at break-even + 5 years of dividends. Not my finest investment!
2019 will no doubt be a bumper year, but when it's over their key asset is somewhat depleted. Thought I would sell into strength and a vertical chart. It will probably race to £3 now!

Well done holders here.

Just because dirty fuels are on the way out, it does not mean that money cannot be made investing in the right stocks.

The problem with such pompous, repetitive derampers like QP is that they are SO insistant their opinion is right ...yes there has been a spike but there has also been a clear share price increase for 6 months! And new management and approach.

But QP prefers, no NEEDS to attack APF as he/she is short (probably less than 5 ft tall judging by the continuous aggression!) and has to keep attacking no matter what!

All IMO, E&OE, DFC, QSOP, Double-salko and loop,
