11/2/2019 13:21 | you have asked the wrong question. the real question is who will be running America in two years time, not now. And whether or not the USA will again become a leader in the fight against global warming and will again be the strong advocate of all the ground-breaking work which Barack Obama put into the Paris Climate Accord. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
11/2/2019 13:07 | QP - grab a newspaper and have a look at who is running America! :) You are ultimately right - in about 6-8 years IMHO, but good companies, well run, with smart investments will make good money for the next few years at the very least. Fill yer boots! :) all imo. dyor. | wanderingjock
11/2/2019 12:56 | Greens agitating hard again:- Read 8th. Feb article in Queensland Mining and Energy which is headed " Proposed ban on coal puts over 26,000 jobs at risk warns industry". Very worrying. hXXps://www.qmeb.com ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
10/2/2019 20:11 | the coal sector is in real trouble and only likely to get seriously worse. any self-respecting institutional investor is ditching any coal-related investment fast, running scared of a negative feed-back loop from investors in their funds who are becoming increasingly ethically aware. whilst certain stocks may have enjoyed a recent uptick, this is only a temporary blip, and in the long-run the sector is on an inevitable downwards path as more and more major economies grapple with the environmental harm caused by global warming and further stringently tighten controls on carbon emissions. a nasty sector and one on a fast downwards trajectory. all imo. dyor. qp | quepassa
10/2/2019 16:48 | Well done to all the long term holders. Best ignore the siren of fake news - Passa Doble - who must be well and truly in the stinky stuff ! He is, however,a great contrarian indicator: very useful. | slim 333
01/2/2019 08:21 | Ditto. When I sell, buy! | gavapentin
01/2/2019 08:10 | Glad to see this share doing well. I don't hold but there has been some mindless bullying on this thread in the past. | rcturner2
22/1/2019 19:18 | Well done holders! Doh! | gavapentin
21/1/2019 12:16 | Excellent update today fully justifying Peel Hunt's call for a share price of 205 in due course. Probably will yield six per cent in next 12 months. share price tracking up through the chart flag, nice. | bolador
10/1/2019 18:06 | Update year end and Q4 should be due at beginning of Feb | robcoo
10/1/2019 13:52 | Royalty income for 2019 forecast £55 million, operating expenses £6 million according to Peel Hunt. PER 6.4, looks cheap as chips again. For believers in Voodoo the chart makes a lovely flag right now. | bolador
19/12/2018 10:47 | Re 8696. Berkeley now sub 10p. maybe APF should stick to royalties | quepassa
10/12/2018 16:58 | My point Wee eck is to not judge folk based on no facts whatsoever . That is where we are going wrong as a society. I am not a shorter. I am down a fraction on my last purchase but am glad to be out actually. | gavapentin
10/12/2018 14:23 | RT are much more credible than the BBC. | semper vigilans
10/12/2018 14:01 | And Merry Christmas to you as well gavapentin. | weeeck
10/12/2018 13:07 | You are a numpty. I have been in and out of this stock for 25 years. You however have not. Left leaning papers are every bit as good as right leaning. Yes they all have their faults but at least they open up your eyes to some things going on in the world (if you want to peep out of your bubble). I do hope arrogant fools like you lose money. Others I wish you luck. It has been up and down for a long time. Finally I have joined QP. Agree there might be spikes upwards on the journey but long term this is doomed | gavapentin
10/12/2018 11:46 | Oops, looks like a targeted campaign against APF. (totally discredited by quoting from the Trotskyist rag) The Paris Climate Accord is teetering on its last legs with many countries now saying that they are withdrawing and many more just ignoring it. Unfortunately for the Anthropogenic Global Warming believers the world has realised that it can't do without coal at least for the foreseeable future. | weeeck
10/12/2018 10:28 | Also covered by the Beeb:- Taken a step back from this - whatever your paper , when global investors start to question the investment in coal, it's worthy of a pause for reflection. | podgyted
10/12/2018 10:18 | Name me a better paper? | gavapentin
10/12/2018 10:08 | Thanks Gava - I’m not surprised they don’t charge for it. I trust all countries that have experienced forest fires this year will be heavily fined by the U.N. There is going to be a rush on generators in the U.K. as the utility companies will have no electricity to sell due to green regs.. Those electric cars are heavy and difficult to push. | semper vigilans
10/12/2018 09:57 | For me this is a great buying time. I believe diversification will continue and lots of the world will still use coal for a few more decades. Electronics manufacture is not slowing down. IMHO. DYOR. | wanderingjock
10/12/2018 09:51 | Best paper out there and it is free | gavapentin
10/12/2018 09:36 | It’s against my religion to look at the Guardian..... but which article please Gava? | semper vigilans |
