just out...

Qualifying Shareholders may apply for any whole number of New Ordinary Shares up to their maximum

entitlement which, in the case of Qualifying non-CREST Shareholders, is equal to the number of Open Offer Entitlements as shown on their Application Form or, in the case of Qualifying CREST Shareholders, is equal to the number of Open Offer Entitlements standing to the credit of their stock account in CREST. Qualifying Shareholders with holdings of Existing Ordinary Shares in both certificated and uncertificated form will be treated as having separate holdings for the purpose of calculating their Open Offer Entitlements.

No application in excess of a Qualifying Shareholder's Open Offer Entitlement will be met, and any Qualifying Shareholder so applying will be deemed to have applied for his Open Offer Entitlement only.

have a look at your figures, I am restraining myself for calling you names!

Go and play your little game elsewhere.

1944 shares at 80p costs £2430 does it?

No offence but you really should not be playing with shares.

thank you.That's much clearer.

10,000x0.1994=1944 1944*.80p =£1552.2

So 1944 shares at 80p.

hmm?

christh

If you have 10 shares you can apply for almost 2 new ones at 80p.

retiringtype 6 Feb'15 - 11:55 - 6943 of 6945

If I have 10,000 shares, I will be offer 10,000 at .1944p each?
so I have to pay 10,000 x 19.44p=£1944 for 10,000 shares.

is that right?

chris, I think in a bear market in commodities it pays to look at the negative.

What they have just done looks to me like a desperate attempt to stem the decline in the share price by issuing such a huge number of shares at 80p. That's my opinion, ignore it if you don't like it.

Just for clarity, the offer is 0.1944 Open Offer Shares for every 1 Existing Ordinary Share, not the other way round as Mr Blunder has it in post 6929 !

For someone to be so prejudiced about APF and always look at the negative
side of things to me is "sour grapes".

The company is been fighting its corner through these difficult times of global recession and has been growing substantially and becoming a diverse company.

You will see a stronger company later this year and from then on.

my previous experience is that not everyone takes up their entitlement meaning there is extra on offer should you want it......I will inform this thread as you said christh

I hope it is.
Can you, possibly find out and inform this thread.
People might not want to go for all their offer.

25 February is the deadline.

Big savings on stamp duty, broker charges!

??????????????????????????

Clueless.....

Yet I have been a long term investor.
Do not forget this company was in the Ftse250 a few years back.
It will in a few years be back in the ftse250.

It has shed 20% since Jan as people were like you dubious, doubtful about the
them.
News were leaked out about the acquisition of the Narrabri royalty and the price has fallen so low.

I know you are a shorter so keep doing what you are doing and I do know a bit
or two to carry on with APF and my dreams of retiring with a big nest egg!

in some open offers you can apply for more than your entitlement, I hope that is the case here as well
