It occurs to me that this seemingly unnecessary drawn out delay, might be the government reminding the locals that it's not a good idea to let politically motivated outsiders herd you into making disruptive protests based upon lies.

The locals must be suffering from lack of work, all those local businesses possibly closed for want of mine salaries. Make them think twice in future if they decide to make trouble without properly checking facts?

In the meantime if our Board are their usual organised selves, they will have all materials in place to raise the old dam as swiftly as possible once given the nod.

A bit of good news for a change wouldn't go amiss.

Not all are so lucky as you and your wife. I bought plenty of shares above 100p. I was sat on a nice potential profit and believed in the story but the age old saying of never fall in love with a company applies. I've learnt that lesson the hard way.

Baz - you sound like my wife who makes a similar comparison on the share price decline over the last few years, but forgets that in 2015 she accumulated the shares she still holds for less than 6p each. Around that time, Reza lent the company a few $million of his own money when the company needed it to get things off the ground (or out of the ground is probably more accurate)

CLA has two of the worst brokers in the business, WHI and Beaumont Cornish - the anti dream team! Half year report to Dec ‘23 showed a loss of $1.6m and cash of $2m. I’d be wary on that info alone.

I think that could well happen. BTC is very harmonic. That attempt to break out of recent highs will pull back and take out a whole lot of stop losses and drive the price down. I have never traded BTCUSD, but the more I look at the chart, the more I kick myself for not doing so. It is not a difficult one to trade.

I think the company has been let down by Azerbaijan tbh. Between talks starting on a new deal and the deal being finalised took 3 years. Now we've had an 8 month hiatus for no reason. Those who raised jurisdictional risk as an issue have been proven correct. Though not because Azerbaijan seizes assets but because everything happens so slowly

The share price was struggling before the locals protest and subsequent government action. Yes it started to reverse those falls, but declining output was an issue.

We all know why the share price is where it is.
If you were building a house on borrowed money, promised the lender a 25% return on his money when built and sold, would it your fault if the council stepped in and said you were polluting and all work must cease until proven otherwise?

They have done a great job managing the share price and production down from a high of 180p in jan 2021 until now march 2024 52p. Super performance.
