HE1 - looks like an RNS indicating much but saying nothing (new).

There’s that large recent placing to placate - £80m mkt cap is way overdone imo.

Guys I think a lot of you are getting your knickers in a twist over nothing.
I am confident all will be sorted this month.

Dealing with ministers and Bureaucracy unfortunately takes longer than we would like.

The Metal in the ground is going up in price.... not going off like a bottle of milk.

When JBRAVO spoke to Bill I was there too with few other people.
The FD was happy will all and very confident of a big turnaround this year.

Cashflow he said not a problem.

So relax all of you and just wait for the positive news to come hopefully very soon.

Can't think of another company which is considered well managed where production has fallen for 5 years on the trot, and are totally unsure whether it will be able to produce more than token amounts in the current year.

Wasn't it Digby Jones that had a plaque in his office saying "The buck stops here".

I agree it should have been done by now jeanesy. But it hasn’t.
I thought it took too long for the govt to ratify the CA changes too.
I guess my expectations have been unrealistic for the speed with which govt’s move.
Edit to answer last post:
That question was asked he assured us we would be fine for cash

It doesn't sound sinister. the company has bent over backwards . It has done no wrong but is still being punished . Having to wait until the end of March is not good enough. Did Bill give any assurance that the company would still be financially viable by then as I would have thought that the losses must be racking up atmo. Money is still being spent but very little revenue is coming in.

Doesn’t sound like anything sinister?

Yes, it’s just a waiting game
I spoke with Bill last week and he was hopeful that news could come by the end of March. Hopeful, not guaranteed. It’s a two way process.
A lot of work was done to collect info over the last few months (drilling the dam wall/stability surveys etc), the application for the raise went in a while ago, the government had asked a few questions, we were confident the company and the consultants would be able to answer the questions without needing any further work (as in drilling of the wall etc) and our response was due to be in by now.

The wheels should have been turned by now to put right the wrong doing of closing us down in the first place !!!

If I read it right the TD is near to approval? They have done the drilling and provided answers to questions?
So I don’t think we are being held to ransom? Just waiting for the wheels to turn?

AAZ has suffered many 'black swan' events over the yesrs i have been invested and survived .. until now.
Being 'held to ransom' by the same authorities who shut the company down to appease the locals with unfounded allegations does not sit well with me.
I am seriously thinking of selling up amnd moving on . It appears some have done so already. We all know that the company has tremendous prospects and potential to become a mid tier producer of gold and copper but it is not being allowed to do so. Why is the big question ? .. I have my suspicions and fears.
No wonder Matt is getting so annoyed with his one liners on the other thread.

Gold on a flyer and Aaz,,, don't ask. Those who are complaining about interest rates being high and need to come down, must be living in cloud cuckoo land. When I started in married life interest rates were 12% and still climbing, then hit 17% and 20% at the bank before tailing of stop crying about interest rates as they are ridiculously low considering the 20% inflation we have been suffering.
