in many ways, I believe AAZ are a bit too naiive & too honest to try and do these sort of deals eg. Libero.
AAZ are miners and want to get on mining. They saw an opportunity, particularly after they looked closely at the geology of the Mocoa deposit, & believed they coud add value to the proposition.
In reaity, I suspect they have been somewhat 'used' by Ian Slater (someone with something of a track record in this).

That said, the Copper & Molbdenum are still there and are still required by the global economy - they are only going to trend up in vlaue as time goes by.

Frank Giustra is clearly a money man with a track record of making such things actually happen & I very much doubt he will allow himself to be used by Ian Slater - Giustra has the monetary firepower and the commercial acumen to outgun Slater & Slater will know that.

Two possible outcomes from here as I see it:

1. Giustra & Slater are in cohoots and intend to run this up hard and fast and try to feret out a big corporate mining entity for Mocoa and they both exit with a wodge or;
2. Giustra genuinely believes he has the firpeower and political clout to get Mocoa into Production.

Either outcome should see the market cap of Libero increase from here onwards & in the event of it being outcome 2 then we may yet have a role to play in mining Mocoa.
Certainly no need for John Sunnunu to remain on the Board now as I do not believe he is capable of adding anything whatsover to the equation that Giustra himself cannot get done more quickly & effectively.
Our shares in LBC are nothing other than sock-drawer items for now but, may yet become more significant as events at Mocoa unfold.

Back to matters in-hand .... fgsake, get this sodding news out about the Tailings & keep pushing at Gilar, Xaar Xaar & Demirli

Good day for me at HVO and POLB. HVO seems to have swallowed the news off yesterday and climbed a little today and POLB's late flourish to 11.4p puts it on a high only beaten in the early float days over 2 years ago at 12.75p and well clear of the float price 10p resistance barrier.

Frank Giustra is one of the big daddies of the Canadian gold and junior mining scene.

It looks like Libero might manage to turn itself around, but possibly without AAZ as an active partner.

Note announcement of further $2m placement on the same day as closing the previous $3m one.

I am comfortable with the investment in Libero. It is probably astute not to follow on at this point yet let other investors get involved. We can still make good money from Libero. We have plenty of healthy local prospects to bring to fruition and it won't take much for AAZ to get a turnaround. I bought more this week and am happy to wait for better days with our business which will materialise when we least expect it.

Took an easy 10 % trade with POLB. Bought yesterday and just had sell order executed. Massive area of resistance. Should pull back from here. Rinse and repeat.
