Morning all,

Does anyone use the ADVFN RNS email alerts? I don't seem to have received any since end of Jan and have missed any of the February RNS's!

I still haven't worked out what little Sununu is for. He doesn't seem to sit on any of the board committees.

Shows however good the project may be that dabbling in pre production miners is incredibly difficult, particularly to get the timing correct.

Agreed RB let's hope they have learned their lesson after 2 failed attempts to diversify. Fingers crossed they dont try and make it third time lucky. At least we have have stopped throwing cash at Libero. The money could have been put to far better use here and that is not hindsight talking.

Yep confirmation last night in Toronto, another failed attempt to diversify away from Az put to bed. They just need to focus on the core business for now.

Update on investment in Libero Copper & Gold Corporation

Anglo Asian Mining PLC ("Anglo Asian" or the "Company"), the AIM listed gold, copper and silver producer focused in Azerbaijan, announces that Michael Sununu, Non-Executive Director of the Company has resigned from the Board of Libero Copper & Gold Corporation ("Libero"). This follows Anglo Asian's holding in Libero falling to 5.7 per cent., lower than the 9.9 per cent. threshold that entitles the Company to maintain a Director on the Board of Libero. Anglo Asian's holding in Libero has reduced as it has not participated in several recent rounds of financing.

Another disaster of an investment by AAZ

Okey dokes - a placing at a 56% discount, and AAZ's guy has left the LBC board. Can't see many positives there!

very interesting development at Libero Copper today:

This is the gentleman concerned:

Will see people slice HVO and move to POLB after this mornings rns. Very scripted interview from CF. No chair rocking or going off on a tangent.

Worth a listen below to CF from an interview with Proactive released today. Confirms he is off to build another company up, POLB, and invest some of his new found wealth there. He also explains his sale at HVO and gives an indication of what he believes will happen at HVO this year, very positive.
POLB has the potential for explosive growth with their cancer treatment enhancing drug that allows patients to have more cancer treating drugs without the deadly side effects. Looking for a partner/buyer when that happens it will shot up, there have a pipeline of drugs it should be added its not a one trick pony the business model is continuous development of different drugs.
POLB is going to rise due to his involvement and investment I suggest.
DYOR, all in my opinion, I am not a financial advisor and hold shares in both companies.

I think I know where CF is putting his new cash haul. POLB he has talked about it being where he would like to put more money. It's a more risky option as it is developing drugs but he knows it well as it was a spin off from HVO
See today's POLB RNS

Yes the sale by CF has taken the edge of this run up as all the recent buyers will have been satisfied I expect. Never know though thier enthusiasm may prompt others to check it out.

Yes I could not buy the amount of shares I have without paying over the odds and selling would do similar the opposite way so coming in and out is not possible. I didn’t start out to do that but I like the story so kept adding little bits plus I now have large profits. My exit will be on sale of the company at some point or if I see the company as overvalued in which case I will start selling down slowly, I probably won’t be alone though at that point.

You are repeating old words from a former CEO you were worried about spin offs that have long since disappeared you are living in the past the instis buying today see the company for what it is and will be. Upside is all there is as it still undervalued and growing plus it’s a service company no risky expensive drug development, no drilling holes looking for metals or oil, no cutting edge tech looking for funding and a market and definitely no dodgy jurisdictions.
To me it’s a good place to go large.
All in my view, DYOR etc

Interesting comment Pogue, that your holding of HVO is a bit big to get in and out easily, I’ve no real view or gripe with the company, just would say similar along with others over AAZ. Size of position does matter and I guess you’re saying you can’t build that position easily overnight.
