29/6/2022 07:07 | Morning all, cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
29/6/2022 06:10 | I don't know more than the management, so I shall continue to question and criticise as I see fit. | zangdook
29/6/2022 04:37 | This looks like a turnaround point? Can we please have less negativity from those who think they know more than the management? I for one certainly do not, why would i think that and remain a shareholder. | michaelfenton
29/6/2022 04:14 | FWIW whenever I've known a company to do a buyback before it has always been announced by a specific RNS before the first purchases are made, and then an RNS every time a purchase is made (e.g. OCI, PSH and PHLL all have them at the moment).I think here we are due a new website at some point too. I'd like to see a chart setting out where the company is on all of the assets with an estimate of future steps. That can be as vague as is necessary, but it would be good to have a single slide that sets out an overview of everything and what reasonable expectations are. So, in say 2024, what will be in production, construction, exploration, retirement etc. | donald pond
29/6/2022 03:01 | There are always some shares available, I had some of them myself this week. There's nothing to stop the company buying back whatever there is even if it's only a few thousand. That will dry up the supply and then demand will push up the price, triggering some more sells. From there it should snowball. I've come across the idea that you can't do a buyback unless you can get a huge quantity at once before, about 10 years ago with PMHL. What a disaster that was. | zangdook
28/6/2022 23:12 | Good day today . Some of the mist finally lifting. The company has been very restricted of late as to what it has been able to say about some key issues and future progress. This has led to an undercurrent of feeling amongst a number of posters who have levelled criticism at the board be it composition, motivati The opportunity for those who still on balance feel the company has not met their expectations is now available to pare down or move on as provided by the buyback. Personally sorry to see you go if you do but a good opportunity to allay your fears at last. I made the point to the board at the AGM that having told a good story of who we are, where we have come from and where we see ourselves wanting to be (ie mid tier..and I think the board are emphatic on this ) with the ratification there is a marvelous opportunity to look to the future by presenting a detailed plan as to how we intend to phase these jigsaw pieces together which needs to be our future presentational emphasis in order to attract and enthuse new investors. John Sununu gave a very long and detailed response on this concerning a developed strategy which I felt was very positive and he did so whilst responding to me directly with with clear eye contact. I know these are choppy times but I still trust our crew, our ship and our direction of travel. | friendzarin
28/6/2022 20:29 | PPC final results today, share price ended up 😊 | all in eol
28/6/2022 20:16 | I am just looking for no debt, no warrants, no converted loan swaps. Cash and at least no HUGE burn. A decent IP too helps. This is how to survive AIM. No advice. BWTFDIK | sideshowbull
28/6/2022 20:11 | proper bear market now,,, no matter how good the news the general trend is down, down, down,,, and that's what governments want/need to help quell inflation,,, so they say,,,, recession to follow and so on,,, fwiw (and I have no experience at all at this) I expect further falls across the board,,, which, as Rb highlighted,, will eventually lead to safe (if you can get safe in this game) long term hold type buying opportunities in the big profitable stocks out there... right !?..... interesting times indeed,,, GLA Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
28/6/2022 19:40 | Get a positive news stream going and the trader brigade will think it's clever to sell a few on the news … into the waiting hands of the company itself. That would be my strategy | mattjos
28/6/2022 19:28 | Should get an RNS towards end of July to confirm Vejnaly ore now being trucked to Gedabek & hopefully some idea on the grade now being mined & eta for the new processing plant ordered for Vejnaly Should get an RNS with more drill data (bonanza grades?) from Gosha / Hasan & clearer definition of the vein structure & methodology for mining it Should get an update on further drill data from Gilar I'd like to think they formally confirm order and eta for the new u/g machinery for Zafer There are lot of items that we believe are occurring / have been informally telegraphed at the AGM … but, all of these warrant a decent stream of individual RNS to formally confirm & ram home the message to the market and investors that were firmly in the game and gunning for more | mattjos
28/6/2022 19:11 | just filter the idiot | mattjos
28/6/2022 18:37 | Major holder? As in Reza Vaziri, John Sununu or Limelight? Not a chance IMO. (It would have to be notified right away so you’ll soon know if I’m wrong and you’re right) Private investors on the other hand, even long term holders, sell at all types of silly times. Ask resourceful or whatever his name was. | jbravo2
28/6/2022 18:27 | RB I was just guessing. Thank you for your input. ATB. | bwana4
28/6/2022 18:20 | Does anyone think that there may be an inside agreement for a major holder to offload a few? I just can’t see LTH private investors selling at this price? Maybe it would be a sacrifice of selling low at present, attract an II investor and sell the shares back into market. The sacrifice would hopefully be offset by a higher share price as projects and production increase. Any difference between buy/sell would be an Aaz treasury gain. | digger18
28/6/2022 17:52 | CMB don’t know for sure either but my guess is Bill wasn’t back in Baku in front of his desk until yesterday and I’m unsure they would have it lined up that swift - just guessing. They did promise once everything was lined up, eventually the story would be told how they plan to get to mid tier, so that approval should take the brakes off newsflow this year. | riggerbeautz
28/6/2022 17:45 | I think forget the buy-back programme for the time being ... assuming Ratification is formally confirmed in the near term, what's more important than the buyback is the fact that the formal ratification should now 'unmuzzle' the company with regards news that has been backing-up in the pipeline for months now & enable the company to start enacting some of the planned actions that are likely also backed up.Whether or not the company gets the opportunity to relieve stale holders of their shares remains to be seen. Let's first firmly get back above £1+ per share | mattjos
28/6/2022 17:43 | Oh' I don't know for sure but the AAZ share price went back to where it was this AM. Perhaps the first buy from AAZ of own shares. | bwana4
28/6/2022 17:39 | Yes' Odsjp and LP, THG is my largest holding in my portfolio. The shorts have brought the share price where it is IMO ! The Co. is way under valued at this share price. The Q2 update I feel will be good and will light a fire under the share price. I know you don't post on there Odsjp but I do regularly. Also very goods news by FZ today re AAZ. Seems like good news arriving all around. ATB and GLA, | bwana4
28/6/2022 17:35 | Thanks for the ratification links everyone. Looks like a dead-cert RNS tomorrow morning then. I'd also guess those 50k @ 93.5p were buybacks - we'll see shortly. | bozzy_s
28/6/2022 16:59 | Lyodypool - As you say, strange THG going down when the NED buys 1.2M shares for £1m, not exactly small change. I am hoping we might get a Q2 update next week as they have said sales have not so far been impacted by the war/inflation only costs have gone up. Am hoping for the 'lipstick effect' (actually an economic term) to take place as it did for the last recession whereby sales of lipstick/beauty products go up in a recession as women (primarily) still want to treat themselves and it is cheaper then buying branded clothes. As has been seen with BOO and ASC gross sales have gone up but net sales have been impacted due to higher returns. You can't really return beauty products once they have been used!!! Also W7L (Make-up/Lipsticks) yesterday gave an update that at their AGM that their sales are up (beating expectations) and their margins have not been impacted. Citi also updated their price for THG saying £2.20 as the beauty division alone is worth more then the current market cap. Time will tell if this is the case. Hopefully we will get an update from AAZ tomorrow on the official ratification (thanks Fz), spelling out to prospective shareholders what this means (game changer) as well as some sort of plan on priorities. | odsjp
28/6/2022 16:51 | :-) :-) :-) :-) many thanx and the very best of luck to us all, AAZ :-)Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi |
