Gone through the list painful as its not sorted on company name, not your fault crazycoops, never noticed much apart from ORPH, PFC and STCM that maybe held by people here. PFC could be interesting as there is a lot of ramping going on there at the moment.

Agree entirely.
This is going to be the most exciting year yet!

As an aside...
I'm starting to see quite a few comments under Telegram posts about Armenian ministers visits to NK and the like about how they can't claim NK is Azerbaijan til Azeri citizens are allowed to go to NK.
There was a huge proliferation of new accounts on Twitter during the information war during the conflict and all of those accounts I took with a pinch of salt. They may have been bots from the state or not. I haven't yet started researching the accounts in Telegram (don't even know if its possible yet or how to do it, I'm something of a social media luddite) but will if this level of noise increases to anything more significant.
I'm following as this opinion is clearly good for AAZ.

PSA Extension, Combination of Gedabek & Gosha contract areas, Extension of Gedabek to pick up the contiguous areas in/around Avschancli that straddle the CA border. These are the items that the company has telegraphed they have applied for / in discussions about.5-Yr Gedabek extension & CA border adjustment to pick up the contiguous Avschancli locations are both items that have detailed procedures existing in the PSA & therefore should both be more 'Administrative' in their nature. Steve has already produced the necessary Technical report proving Avschancli deposits are contiguous & we applied for PSA Extension last November.Combining Gedabek & Gosha is not an action so covered by the PSA & since I don't believe we are currently able to prove these two CA's are contiguous, may be a longer term item to deal with according to results of further exploration but, if it were to be granted that would signal huge belief and support for the company from the Az government. Each / All of these items are, in effect, akin to Seal of Approval by the Az govt. for all that has gone before & the plans for the future. They also give the company the necessary strengthened base from which to direct future finances & resources into the newly released CA's.I am very much persuaded that, on confirmation, the market will interpret extremely favourably & value AAZ at £200m as a base case.

Here is the full list of IG positions that require 100% margin funding next week and regardless, positions will need to be closed within 30 days. This is going to be hugely disruptive short-term (spoiler - I didn't spot AAZ on the list but just had a quick scan). These are not just speculative shares, some big FTSE names also hTTps://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=%21APgz4twabksqJNo&cid=B781E949DDEFB3BF&id=B781E949DDEFB3BF%215135&parId=B781E949DDEFB3BF%21135&o=OneUp

@pool
If a share is closing only then no new bets can be placed on the share. You can only close existing positions.

and/or

If a share is moving to 100% margin then those holding positions have to find extra cash to fund their positions or face having forced sales. Not everyone is going to be able to find the cash to cover their positions so there is presumably going to be varying degrees of selling in these companies.

(It has historically been harder to place short bets than long bets on IG so I'm presuming the majority of closing pressure will be sells and therefore the prices to move down but this may not be universally the case, its a generalisation)

Yep, it is an odd mix for sure.

Upthepool. Spreadbet and CFD positions in the named stocks have to go 100% by Thursday, then close out completely within 30 days. Stocks on that list with a combination of a concentration of over leveraged holders combined with poor liquidity could see some high volatility in the next week/month.

Yep, all eyes on the PSA extension from here. Also, in a previous interview Bill said they were also asking for a geographical extension between Gosha and Gedabek (I presume because of a contiguous resource?) and that they were trying to align that with the existing PSAs. So, perhaps news of both which would really get us going.

I don't use ig, and I don't spread bet so don't understand the implications of 100% closing. If anyone has the time, I'd be grateful for a simple "dummies guide" as to what all this means to the companies on the list, and specifically what it might do to their share price.TiA'pool

It's a strange mix alright. Some decent sized companies as well as plenty of dross.

Lot of US names in that list, not as many London names as feared?

And no ARB...! Apologies brasso3 :)

Thanks donald.
Has there been any talk of reduced charges from IG in this that you've seen? Part of their charges are, they say, due to the fact you're borrowing from them to fund positions. What about positions which are 100% going forward?

Just listened to the analyst review again.
I expect Hardman next target price to be well into the 200’s
Forecast using $1600 per oz and none of the newly acquired assets.
The PSA extension news must surely set this alight.

I had a heads up from a friend who had received the call that EML would be affected. I've got plenty of shares and so didn't want to be stuck in a bet if others were leaving. Oddly, IG swallowed my positions in PXC and EML in 2 bites each, which is surprising as they were both several times EMS

as for the IG situation,, really unpleasant and just shows how one 'needs eyes in the back of ones head' when playing this game as the rules can be changed at a moments notice it seems,,, not good at all,,, hmmm, cheers Wan :-)

Wan, Sorry for delayed reply on silver miners, tend to switch off markets to do other things and right now it’s a fairly intense kitchen rebuild.

My core stock was always MAG, but then IPT, AAG and DEF came along. DEF has been a screw up! Not a hindsight trader but if I was I’d have took profits instead of watching it slide expecting a turn. BIG D’ohh! Fortunately I was more sensible with the other 3. I’m adding to IPT and AAG. Couple of others I’ll say are VZLA I’ve a little stake and SVE which I can’t make my mind up whether to go for it or not; I’m having a DEF moment again there.

SVL has been my biggest winner this year, only got back in above a week ago after cashing out on their spike. TMZ down under also interests me. Of course I frequently trade LSIL but only with a short term horizon; just saves trading physical :)

For my holdings I have just checked on IG:-

ARB, PPC, FRES, HUM, TSG, ALTN, EVG, XTR and AAZ do not seem to be affected.

CEY, HOC, SHG, RMM, STCM, AMC, DDDD and ORPH are now closing only.
